I dont see a need for Shaqiri at the moment
We have Mueller who is doing great as a cover-up for Robben in RW spot..
Dunno why we need him when we have problems in other areas

If Altintop goes we do need him. Besides Ribery is injury prone... But yes we first have to buy some defenders.

I agree. We need a cover for Ribery who is injury prone
But for that, we need to sell either Pranjic/Olic as there will be 4 LWs in our squad if we get him
Ribery, Shaqiri, Olic, pranjic

Muller wont get benched , even with Robbery fit , am sure of that

He is just too good and the cup game vs Stuttgart showed it

Kroos is the closest one to the bench

If Altintop leaves...I am all for having Shaqiri or some other young talent to come of the bench when needed.

But the main targets should be GK,CB,LB and ST

and even for ST position, I'd like a young prospect who could come off the bench, providing Gomez keeps it up.

That's a good idea. Besides, Klose will leave us sooner or later and Olic is injured :(

According to http://www.fussballtransfers.com/bundes ... hema_18172

Hamburg are again after Shaqiri

Hamburg wanted to sign him last summer , but the deal failed because they did not have money

There seems to be news floating around about Shaqiri now -- I know we were interested when we played Basel last season in the CL.
