I can not understand this transfer from Real's point of view except for raising money for a younger CDM.

Exactly. I want to buy him to ruin Real more than for us tbh.

You really believe he left, because we didn't offer him enough money? Toni Kroos earns € 13.6M at Real Madrid and wasn't even interested in negotiating an extension with Bayern München, as mentioned by his agent after the World Cup.

Offtopic but Kroos has stated after moving to RM that Bayern was always his first choice and that he felt valued here but talks broke down in the spring and that's when he decided to leave. What I gathered from this was he wanted more money but Bayern refused. Considering how his agent was talking to Moyes during one of Bayern's game I applaud that, cause he wanted to use the media to play hardball with the club. If he could control his agent a bit and not be so teasing with his answers to the press, I bet they'd offered more. Mueller didn't have trouble getting a new contract but then again he loves the club and isn't having a fit when benched.

Anything close to 10 million salary for this guy is absolutely ridiculous! He is past his prime & was a liability for Madrid last season. He certainly doesn't deserve such wages!

Well
i read that he only considered leaving Bayern after the negotiations came to a dead end , and he decided to leave after germany won the world cup

anyways , 10 millions for Alonso is tooooo much , in fact , am not a fan of the entire idea of getting Alonso

I wouldn't say that he was a liability for Madrid last season. I believe that he a world class player who bayern would benefit from in one way or another, but yeah 10 million is quite a lot considering his age.

Seems like an overnight transfer or else another transfer we kept hidden from the media. Latest I've read is it'll be done as early as tomorrow.
