He now lacks only consistency
I am against Xabi in saying that he will disappear against stronger teams , In fact in the big matches of the CL he was at his very best
But then you may find him disastrous in a BL match

And He gives much more balance to our shape on the pitch that Mueller , He is a very good link in the build up and in the defense and works very hard and he is always of the top three runners every match

Now Kroos for the team is more important that Mueller IMO also

I think that might be me, I love Kroos.
He has displayed some of the most brilliant football this season, such elegant passes.
He is like the Van Gogh of passing, he just has such perfection.
He can be a bit inconsistent, but he is still very young and maturing with every game.
Toni will go down as a Bayern and German legend, one of the best of all time.

Kroos indeed has superb potential and could become a genuinely world class player, I agree..... The problem with him is that you rarely see him play with total motivation.... His character in general lacks determination... This is his biggest flaw IMO which makes him lazy at times.... Bit he's still young, and IF he manages to change that, he can be a great superstar for the future....

Bring in Oliver Kahn!
We need that kind of mentality in our club, in the team...

There is one player who has benefitted the most from Heynckes' arrival. Long regarded as Bayern's and Germany crown jewel for the next decade, and promised the revered No. 10 jersey when he was just seventeen, Toni Kroos has recovered from a season of stagnation under tyranny of Van Gaal to establish himself as the chief playmaker in the Bayern and Germany midfield, as confirmed by Frank Ribery and others.

Based on current performance and technical abilty Kroos has clearly taken over Muller spot this season as an important starter and playmaker, already this season, he has laid on a hatful of goals for his team-mates, especially Gomez, and looks an unstoppable force when in full flight. Finally given the chance to express himself, the 21-year-old finds space with his intelligent running, glides effortlessly past opponents, before picking out team-mates with passes that are beautiful in their simplicity.

Suddenly, declarations heralding Kroos as the next Lothar Matthaus have gone from being ridiculous to prophetic. A spot alongside Schweinsteiger in the heart of Germany's midfield at Euro 2012 does not seem too far a shout either, and who knows - with both of them enjoying their football, victory for Die Mannschaft in Poland and Ukraine seems a distinct possibility.

Still can anyone really be surprised that Kroos' sudden resurgence has coincided with the appointment of Heynckes? After all, it was Heynckes who handed the young midfielder his first serious opportunities whilst the latter was on loan to Bayer Leverkusen.

At his Age Kroos is currently the best passer in bundesliga, he brings stability to our play, most people who understand little about football will say he goes unnoticed most of the time but his passing and movements in tight spaces are extremly effective. One funny part, He can pass with either foot precisely any kind of passes all over the field and can deliver a cross in centre of the pitch(the 2nd goal against Napoli is an example).

Great passer, great for keeping possession, great with delivery set piece, often gives the assist to the assist - far more important than you'd realize if you weren't paying him any particular attention. He comes across like a sly, cunning fellow who brings a different edge to the game than Schweini. Staying in the background to take in the lay off of the game, he than pulls something out of his hat. He has specialized in using the spaces Schweini provides by pulling the concentration of too many defenders in his direction, totally forgetting about Kroos.

He can pass ball to space(Alaba type) can pass ball to feet(Schweini type) and can receive pass on his feet and in space(very intelligent fellow).

His development is going on well, slow and steady in order not to burnt out like some young talents will do, the media dont pay too much attention to him(which protects him from pressure), very discipline and matured.

In Brief, Toni Kroos is the Jewel of FC Bayern and Germany, he will be Germany and Bayern best player for a long time...

Kroos needs to find his finishing touch again. He's scored a few goals but he's not much of a real threat when he's the one shooting. If he starts scoring a lot of goals again, he might become even better than the likes of Schweini in the future.

=D>
Exactly, he just should think of it as passing the ball in the net instead of shooting.
Kind of like this:

I think he may think to much about his shots, his passes are effortless brilliance.
The two goals we scored against Mainz both where because of him.

I couldn't find the actual People.co.uk link but these news were quoted about 24 hours ago in several sites, including this one:

http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/engl ... oos-022612

Taking into consideration [edit] their budget and recent transfers, this is quite interesting.

True, Hargreaves was the only one and he basically forced us to do it.

We've sold (or let contracts expire of) loads of others (Rensing, Kraft, Lell, Ottl, etc) but none of them were at the level of Kroos.

Honigstein wrote:The elegant Toni Kroos (Bayern) is rapidly growing into a genuine rival to the more defensively-minded Sami Khedira (Real Madrid) for the second "anchor" spot next to the imperious Schweinsteiger.

A littler further ahead, Madrid's Mesut Özil keeps growing as a player but can't afford to let up in light of Kroos' preference for the number 10 role

It is kinda old, it is not about Bayern, but quite important to the team nonetheless. Toni Kroos is developing into a fine defensive/attacking midfielder for Club and Country and getting rave reviews everywhere you look. Let us hope he continues the run tomorrow.

The real problem is that I'm not sure if Kroos being paired with Schweini allows Schweini to do his thing. With Khedira, they both have the capability of sitting back if one goes forward, but Kroos is a lot more attack minded than the two.

Löw must be hoping Bayern starts to use the duo in midfield a lot before the Euros.
The ideal team
