Müller was one of the best players in the pitch even considering the missing penalty.

Seriously?

First leg: 20 shots, 7 on goal, 0 goals
Second leg: 33 shots, 11 on goal, 2 goals

There's simply no doubt we are better with both on the pitch. No doubt. Sure, Müller is the goat on this one with the miss, but we were so much better with both.

Because? We played the best game of the entire **** year 2016? **** he killed the tie last week, when he decided to field that excuse of a starting XI...
Someone, fire that Italian **** already! I don't care who, I don't care how much it costs or who'll be the next coach - just make sure he's gone and he stays gone!!!

"sometimes"?
How many penalties does he have to miss till someone else gets a chance?

If you actually watched the game you could see the difference in approach simeone had in the first match vs today.

Atletico hardly pressed today and just defended conservatively.
Muller and robert Never should of started together.

Both of them starting together was what allowed us to have so many chances. We were just damn unlucky. That's football. If you don't make full use of your chances, it will bite u in the ass.

Hey, I don't believe that Mueller designated himself to take penalties... he's obviously one of the best on our team to take them... CR7, Messi, Totti... all miss penalties... Torres missed one tonight as well... maybe it was good goalkeeping...

We owe this phase to Mueller, that goal against Juve in the 93 minute brought us here if you're all trying to scapegoat him.

We did everything, we played the best match of the year 2016, we won it but the result wasn't good enough.

It's not to blame Müller. He missed the crucial penalty and we later didn't manage to win by 2 goals and that's it.

Isn't it funny.

We lost and yet no one criticizes anyone, yet when we lost to atletico 0-1 in Madrid, the 3 spainards got ripped apart withing seconds of the game ending. It's very easy to see the mindset of fans on this forum and the bias of players....

Notice Javi doesn't have that bias because he was a Jupp transfer, not a Pep one.

Stop your trolling. No one criticizes anyone today because we're proud of our boys. Bayern played an almost perfect game. We could have scored one more, Alaba could have stopped that goal and Müller could have buried that penalty, but that's about it. It was a great game.

Last week OTOH was a complete travesty. Because of Guardiola who sent them with the wrong tactics and the wrong lineup. Simple as that.

Had we played both legs with today's tactics and lineup I've got no doubt we would have gone through.

If you refer to me, I didn't scapegoat even Robben in 2012.

Your proud because Simeone allowed us to attack?

Similar to the way, every team played against us even Chelsea the year we lost in the Champs league???? Barcelona allowed us to attack and we got F, Madrid allowed us to attack and we got F, Chelsea allowed us to attack and we got F.

The team had so many opportunities to win this game and if Pep fielded this team vs atletico in Spain, we would of lost without any doubt. This game was there to be won and we failed big time today.

I wasn't disappointed in the first 2 failures, but this year, this failure is a huge disappointment to me.
