Indeed, by the time he retires he'll be one of the most victorious players of all time...

Hopefully he'll pick up another CL trophy or more and perhaps another WC and a Euro...

Not to mention I believe he'll beat Klose's WC goals record...

Muller....what a fricken god.
I never imagined he would be in this kind of form this season, I didn't doubt him but he is playing with the form of Messi and Ronaldo. He is a top 3 player in the world for me now.

His body build is entirely different from most other footballers - no unnecessary muscles, like a long distance runner. Could be that?

Bayern knocked back £88m for Muller

Manchester United were roundly ridiculed for spending what could be an eventual £58 million on Anthony Martial -- that is until the France starlet bagged a gorgeous debut goal against Liverpool on Saturday. But it turns out that United were ready to shell out even more on Thomas Muller, according to kicker.

The German publication says that the Red Devils were willing to spend a world-record €120 million (£88m) to reunite the World Cup winning forward with Louis van Gaal, but Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich refused to entertain a sale. Muller would have reportedly earned an "astronomical" yearly salary of €12.5m had Pep Guardiola decided to part with the 26-year-old

The author suggests that the £58m Man Utd spent on Martial has already been paid back by his first goal.

Don't now if anyone has noticed this, but....

(Considering that the German Supercup is a friendly) Müller has scored in a perfect 2-1-2 pattern for 9 consecutive competitive games!

8) If we use this pattern to predict our next matches and assume the trend will continue, Müller will score 1 against Darmstadt and 2 against Wolfsburg!   8) 8) 8) :D :D :D

I count 7 from your image unless you're ignoring the super cup which is an official competition.

Nice observation nonetheless.

Thomas is also the first German player to score at least one goal in eight consecutive editions of the Champions League.
