He cleary never was anywhere near Robben's level and Lewa's position isnt up for grabs.

And then we would be in the position of 2002-2010 until robben and LvG arrived, knocked out comfortably by anyone in the quarters.

Müller is awesome + still has room to grow. He and Alaba are the unsellables for me.

he is amazing, but his singularity might have a different inception than you think. I think there are more reasons why he is a special player, but let's face what is truely singular is the fact he trips over himself or the ball every game.

I've never seen a player do that so many times.

He is kinda right in that Muller does not really have an undisputed starting place. His flexibility can be a downside in this regard but it ensures he plays a lot even if he does not have his own position.

However, when has Muller ever had an "abysmal season"?

2012 and 2014, both times he was on the bench against Madrid, if you remember? It's an indicator of his form. Let us hope this year it's a good year.

And where was he against Barca? ;) And in the CL finals 2012 and 2013? The way Muller stumbles about the ball from time to time, the more incredible goals like none else can, he makes.

This is my answer to the reply has Muller ever had an abysmal season.

2012 and 2014. 2013 was very good and 2010 great. 2011 so so

There seems to be a lot of ManU fans kinda hurt because Müller & Reus rejected them. Best comment so far:
Muller and Reus asked to join Man Utd and were told we did not want them so now they try to save face like Kroos did. If Man Utd want a player then they get him it is as simple as that as has been demonstrated with our buys so far, who are by far the best buys of the summer.
