It actually reminded more of this one from the away CL match vs. Man City

Not sure which one was his best goal this year.

Top 2:
- vs City
- vs BVB

All-time Müller favorites, anyone? Mine would consist of the Wolfsburg goal, Roma goal, the stealth movement goal v Bremen last season, the "haha Adler is such a twat" goal v Hamburg, the "haha Fuchs is such a twat" goal v Schalke (numbers 4 and 3), and of course the two CL scrappy headers that you all know, of which one worked out a bit better than the other...
The ideal team

--------Müller with gloves--------
-Müller--Müller--Müller--Müller--
-------Müller---------Müller-------
----Müller----Müller----Müller----
---------------Müller---------------

You raise a good point, but I think he might be able to fill in for the wingbacks as well if we switch to a 3-4-3. In a 3-4-3 we don't necessarily need Alaba and Lahm. A balanced winger who tracks back can do the job well enough, and Muller is one of those, more so than Robben.

That means if we go through with the idea to implement a 3-4-3, he'd be able to play in 5 different positions.

I doubt Thomas Müller will show much love for the role as right wing-back in the 3-4-3, I think Höjbjerg is the better choice anyway, Rode and Rafinha compete for the spot as well.

To me, one of the worst mistakes of Guardiola's campaign was his rotation; not that he changed players a lot, but that no player seemed to have a fixed position. I hope he rotates Müller and Robben at RW, but I hope he doesn't move Müller around as if he were a Großkreutz-like utility player.

It gives me such a warm fuzzy feeling when Müller plays this well. I find hard to believe I will ever like a player more than I like him.
