I wanted to say how hugely important Müller was this season overall and in the CL -- he has matured and learned to help out in various ways besides just scoring. He has gone through his share of bad patches like everyone else -- but he is growing as a professional because of it. I think he will be vital in years to come.

Muller must step it up this season and make more of a difference in the attack. There was a lot of pressure on him, I believe, after his success in the WC 2010 and I think that affected him a bit last season. From what I've seen in the NT friendlies and in the Supercup vs. Dortmund, I sense he will have a great season for Bayern.

Considering he's had 2 good seasons and a bad one, and so far in pre-season he's been one of our best players, I'd say last season was a one-off.

Müller is much like Neuer for us - sure he bumbles about in some random BuLi games, but when needed, he delivers. I'm sorry, but as long as he was on the pitch in that game, we were utterly in charge. Dortmund also scored in the title decider once he was subbed off.

Also, the statistics don't show it, but his football intelligence and attacking movement to draw attackers away from the 3 big danger men (Robbery and Gomez). Which may sound like donkey work but they are pretty much useless when double/even triple teamed!
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Your friend ain't wrong.

May be we could call Mueller as 'der Professor' ?

He's always at unpredictable, uncanny and fruitful positions. =D>
I hope he scores more this season and we win it all!

Müller has to find himself back in good form just as he had it during the van Gaal period. Otherwise, he could lose his place in the first team since Shaqiri is a player who's rising star.

I think it's the Jekyll and Hyde Robben that should watch his ass at the time being.
