Yes, he was great last night, never stopped working for the team.

I don't know why Jupp took him off tbh. Tymo was in a rhythm at CB and coping well, so I didn't see a need to bring DVB on for him. I think Jupp must have thought the game was won sadly.

But Mueller had some game.

I would have taken off kroos for DvB and kept Muller in the 10 spot since Muller was the one with the hot hand Kroos was not as influencial im the 10 spot as Muller especially when Gomez is having his bad days

He is a victim to our (lack) tactics in attack... we are damn toooo slow... Ribery and Robben only flirt with the ball as they wish... A great combination-man like Mueller is wasted in this style... It's a shame...

Last night... JH should have taken Gomez out instead of Mueller IMO...

Feels good to have everyone come over to what I've been saying for the whole season, I have to say.

you were saying this before the winter break when he was in poor physical/psychological form... I was one of the first to criticize him back then... Even though our team was performing well...

But he regained his form since the winter break, and I've been defending him since then...

It simply took time for him to get used to Jupp's tactics. As his NT games showed, he had the skill all along. And even now he's being wasted under Heynckes' rule.

Remember, we lost more than two penalties with Robben...

He's the first Bayern player to score from open play in a final since 1999.

WOW. We had 120 (2001) +90 (2010) +83 (2012)=293 minutes in CL finals without a goal?
That's a bit embarassing...even for the 2001 team.

The 99' goal was from a DFK wasn't it? Does that qualify as "from open play"?

To bring this thread on topic again, I don't think Müller was even born then. :P
