He doesn't need to play behind Lewy in order to be good. Today he replaced Lewy up top and got a goal. It's not quite delivering a consistent good performance over 90 minutes, but it's a start. This is a player that should be one of the best in the world.

He hit his low and now hopefully he, like Thiago and Alonso, can perform when it matters and have the fans behind him. Germany doesn't attract Griezmann? If we have the real Müller then Griezmann can play Europa league with Man United.

Well said, well said. Ideally, Thomas would relearn how to play RW, cause that's what is best for the team as a whole. That way, we can play 4231 or 433. But I'll take anything, re-up your game in whichever position allows you to play alongside Lewy, and let the rest of the formation adjust to that.

There is a Muller in difference at Bayern from the past years... if Bayern had the Muller goals from the past years, there wouldn't be complains about our performances. Muller can't cut in from the right and finish with the left like somebody else does... you just can't expect that from him.

It would be wise to get him back where he was... others can reinvent themselves too. Muller still looks confident and is all smiles on the bench... it doesn't look like he's going anywhere if anyone was thinking to get rid of him. Wondering how many other stars at their prime would be taking it like him, to be benched in the important games, funny that Robben named Muller as the player with the strongest character.

Great to see! Just shows that Muller is very much a danger man and will be key for the business end of the season!

I can see Muller turning those assists into goal himself during the quarter finals of the UCL...if we advance. He can redeem himself and turn us to some UCL glory
Bayern for life, I just want to see at least one game...thats all I ask

Had chances to score but still passed them. I think it's a way of him building his confidence up again, we'll eventually see him shoot more soon.

I think that what we might be seeing is that Müller's scoring last season under Pep should be considered an anomaly and not the norm. I still think Müller has plenty of room to improve this year but he's not in as much of a crisis as some may suggest.
