Bayern Munich will keep playing exciting football, promises Thiago
Fans "appreciate how Bayern play and how Bayern are," says the Spain international. "That's a big deal for us."

Though Pep Guardiola, the coach who brought Thiago to Bavaria, left for Manchester City at the end of last season, the midfielder remains confident that supporters will continue to tune in and fall in love with the German giant's style of play under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.

"We want to have the ball and we have a coach who has won everything as a coach and as a football player as well," he told Goal. "He has an amazing relationship with the players so we are very excited to start this year, to play games with Carlo."

I expect a world class season from Thiago, that R.Madrid friendly really had my mouth watering to see his silky moves on the pitch.

Please, my son, please keep your form! [-o<
I'm still not over Thiago's performance against Arsenal last season.
She’s beauty, she’s grace, if u tell her she only watches football for the attractive players she’ll punch u in the face.

I hope he can prove effective enough to push out Alonso or push Muller wide, he didn't have the best of times last season but he looks be a man on a mission this season more than any time under Pep imo....

A thing that struck me last season, when he was out of form...the amount of times he stayed at the sidelines after being subbed off, asking questions, still being engaged in the game. It seemed like he wanted to know why it wasn't working....

Hope Muller stays central though...he works best directly next to Lewy imo.

that is why I want us to play without wingers... so to have him play either with Lewa or behind him.//

What I took from what you mention is that Thiago really cares and is deeply and emotionally involved in the success of the team. One of the reasons I'm so quick to look over his bad performances last season. Also his celebration when he scored agaisnt Juve. Thiago FTW.

PD: so happy to have Ramsej on my side on the wingerless idea and the 433/4312 formations :D

Bias, probably. He's still 'Pep's pet', who came to Bayern for the coach and not necessarily for the club...and the media are quick to remind us that he hasn't delivered on the enormous promise/pressure that the 'Thiago oder nichts' line put on him.

Tbh I question even if the notion that he hasn't met expectations. In my opinion he proved himself as early as his first season here, when his injury started our decline. The only negative thing is that he hasn't played as often as we would have liked.

This guy acted as a ballboy in THAT game... enough said of his passion for the team.

He has so much class and potential that im never satisfied with his performances, he hasnt been terrible but he hast been amazing and that is mostly my own fault of perception. I just cant help but have the highest of expectation whenever I see him on the ball.

l want Thiago to step up his game vs the likes of Dortmund, A.Madrid. He needs to perform world class level under agressive pressing.
