Thiago isn't Vidal. Problem was that pep started both alonso and thiago.

Can't expect Thiago to turn to Vidal overnight. Thiago is more of a CAM/Cm player.

I'm talking about attitude not positioning, and I know they play in different positions, thank you very much.

He's been crap for weeks.
Just because you're not Vidal 2.0, doesn't mean you can't play better than Thiago does.
Actually, for a player with his skill-set, i don't think it's possible to play worse.

Exactly, you cannot expect thiago to play like vidal.

Vidal has made a name for himself as the best destroyer in Europe. Did you see Chile vs ARgentina and how Vidal took their whole midfield on?

Thiago isn't that type of player and you cannot expect him to be. If you want someone like Vidal, you need to hit south america and get Fernandinho...

Thiago Whoscored today:

Total tackles: 4
Most tackles: 5 via Lahm
Vidal 3
Alonso 2

Problem in the beginning was Robert need to come to the midfield and help them, like Torres and Griezmann did all day.

I have a feeling Pep instructed Thiago to play more conservative since Alaba was the CB on his side with bernat as rb

Thiago needs to show more presence on the pitch. He can always do some flashy stuff everytime he gets the ball, but he doesn't have any kind of influence in the game. It's not like Xavi or Iniesta just to name a few.

Because he didn't have any fellow countrymen on the bench with him. Only after Benatia came on for Bernat.

For gods sake a bad half a season and people are calling for his sale? You must have very short term memories. In the past he has been decisive for us and he always shows the pride and love he feels for the team. Get off his back!!!

First thing I'd do if my agent proposed that to me is... Fire my agent... With that second name alone there should be more than enough proof he can't know a thing about this sport... "City" is confirmation and the final push over the edge in unison...
