If we get both Reus and Kurt, it would be insanely helpful for Kurt. He would be able to learn directly from the player that he is most like.

Hahaha Kurt won't break into the first team and even the bench for years. Reus, Ribery, Robben, Shaqiri, Müller, Götze, then Green. Scholl also plays as a winger.

Maybe its just poor translating but from the looks of it it sounds like his agent said Kurt is expected to come to Bayern on a free transfer next season [source]

Basically it says that Gladbach and Bayern look unlikely to reach an agreement in this transfer window. In any case, his contract runs out in 2015 and if an agreement isn't reached earlier, he will move to Bayern on a free transfer.

It's good for him because he'd know what's going to happen with Reus and whether Green stands a chance. If we get Reus and Green does well he'd be an idiot to move to Bayern. On the other hand if Kurt has a good season Dortmund might consider him to replace Reus.

Except after his little stunt, I really doubt he'll be given the first team playing time he was geared on to be given last season.

Don't you have to be a certain age in order to sign a pre-contract expiry?

Nothing is signed between Bayern and Kurt just an understanding. His contract with BMG is a youth one.

BmG has declined another Bayern offer for Kurt. KHR said that he is coming 2015 for free then, it's BmG's problem, not theirs. But they are willing to pay 2,5 million, not 5 that Eberl wants.

Let us not waste 2.5 million plus salary on a kid who is extremely unlikely to get a decent amount of playing time. It is as if we got him for free but loaned him back to Gladbach who will pay his salary.
