Green is the same age as Kurt (18), but he's scored at the World Cup and has played a few matches for the professionals and has played for the reserves. He's much further along than Kurt who last season played for Gladbach's U19s and has just been promoted to Gladbach II. That's why I think they're asking for too much for him. transfermarkt value Sinan Kurt at €100,000 and Bayern have reportedly offered 30x more than that, and yet Gladbach want more.

Maybe buy for less with some in extra clauses case he really proves to be top talent?

That makes considerable sense for an unproven youngster. Risks shared by both clubs.

Useless would-be transfer. Better to care about buying decent CB than getting unproven youngster.

Last I've read it's not the transfer fee but money Gladbach will get if we sell him... he's contract with them is about to expire too right?

He has a youth one which expires in 2016. Favre is suppossed to promote him this season if he commits long-term. He also declined invitation for their training and went to the U23 training insread... we got a troublemaker in our hands lmao

Green has played 1 game in WC but Kurt has played in all youth levels of German NT.

i think it's a good idea to let two young players compete for one position.

five millions are lots of money for him but what's the alternative? either buy him now or give up on him because he wont be able to play in the bundesliga as long as he wants to go to bayern.

well, of course, that wouldnt be the case. but as long as he thinks that this could be the result, he could say he rather stays and signs a new contract than waiting in gladbach II.

Green plays on the RW I believe for Bayern II. It's the other way around. He'll have to wait and play for Bayern II. If he stays at Gladbach he'll be promoted to the senior team. Although after this stunt, they're mad at him and might postpone it.

Just noticed Kurt and me share the same birthday.

You can't judge young players' quality based on their estimated MW at Transfermarkt... Transfermarkt assesses a more realistic estimation of their values, only after they have appeared in a certain number of official matches at senior level... Before that, you can't compare them like that....

If Bayern wants Kurt this bad, he should be really good... We have great scouts who must have rated him very highly, and that's good enough for me...

Last time we were after a young talent like this, it was Goretzka I believe... And he turned out to be a great young player this season.

Tiger wanted him at Bayern, but neither Guardiola nor board didn't make a proper steps to sign him. Well, it's never too late, but with this team we can't open space to these young German players in the next 3-4 years.

Exactly! If Bayern really wants Kurt so bad, he'll surely pay the asked price from Eberl.

heard Bayern have agreed a deal with B. M'gladbach for Kurt. 2 youth players + 500.000.... we will see what happens. His first choice club is Bayern, allegedly following are Arsenal and Liverpool, if deal with Bayern falls through.
