Not a memorable performance for his first debut but he did pretty well. He looked comfortable on the ball but he doesn't seem confident/ready to play as an inverted winger yet. Luckily he is still young but I didn't see anything that impressed me yet.

I thought he looked confident and secure and unlike Gaudino he didn't look vulnerable, slow and lost. I still can't understand why a guy shows up and starts kicking passes around and suddenly he's got great potential while missing passes and sending the ball to marked players.

Players like Kurt and Gaudino should keep next season in FCB II, and in the UEFA Youth League with the U-19 team, because is very important for those young players to keep in a process, instead of bench him every weekend in the first team. Next four bundesliga games for them will be a great experience, but do not interrupt their development.

Slow? Who told you that a central midfielder need speed?..

Lost? How can you consider lost a player, who was almost participating in the distribution of the ball.

First half wasnt good for the team, but it was not because of him, and is not true that all his passes were for marked players. As I told you, before you write about Gaudino, you need to watch again the first half, it was boring but not because of him.

Exactly. Gaudino had 1-2 poor passes, but was central to most of the ball distribution, and had a fairly good game. The BT Sport commentator expressed his surprise at Guadino's substitution, and added that he thought him the best Bayern player in the first half.

Kurt had a few good touches, but we need to see a bit more.

I the run up to today's game on English Television, Steve McManaman, Owen Hargreaves and Paul Scholes (three great players who came through their youth teams and went on to become influencial at their clubs) all eulogised about the immense benefits that young players get from being let loose from youth and reserve team systems to play with experienced players, as Steve McManaman put it- they need to play with 'Men, not boys'.
I have to agree with them. Letting players go to other teams on loan for periods of time is a fantastic way to blood them in a way that the UEFA Youth League just can't- let's not lose sight of what is really important here- the first team.
It has worked for us in the past and in more recent events, had contracts been properly managed, this process would have provided us not only with Toni Kroos, but Hummels and Emre Can too, both of whom made huge strides after they left to get real first team experience.
I have high hopes that this process will pay off with Hojbjerg.

That's a shame, he seemed to have a lot of promise. Who knows though, he might just pull a Wesier on us.....hopefully he stays this time
