Well, I still don't think he's a superb finisher... That doesn't make him shit, but it's a fact... He had two or three good opportunities, one time he aims for Cech, one time he stumbles... I think Makaay would've put one in ;) But he was a worse player overall...

He's never been a super cool finisher, he could score a lot more if he had a few more poaching instincts because he's always around the ball in the box. But still, I couldn't honestly ask more from him, he still does quite a bit.

If we're lucky we might be able to do a swap deal for Gomez and maybe send them a bit of cash as well to be fair!

I think now a days Lewda thinks he is better than what he really is.

I'm a big fan of Robert, but robert isn't the striker/skill level of a aguero/benzema type forward.

I wouldn't swap Lewa for Aguero.

Two games without scoring and people are already talking about Lewy not being good enough, overrated Agüero and Pepraus .... Fickleness at it's worst.

I mean skill level....

benzema and aguero are on a different level to robert.

Their techniques are amazing like zlatan is.

I wouldn't swap Lewy for anyone. Maybe Suarez - but Lewy doesn't bite people

And by the way, no, he's never been an excellent finisher. That's the impression I got after watching him for four full seasons

And now we're talking about Zlatan being better than Lewy? What?

For different reasons you'd expect him to score more for Bayern than he did for BVB... What I want from him is to score in important games, not 5 times, not even 3 times, one goal per important game would be enough I guess.

Point is that robert is trying to rely on skills/technique, rather than hard work and movement.

Guys like aguero, benzema and zlatan all have significantly better technique than Robert, but his work rate is better than theres. Even when he scored 15 goals in a week or so, we all know that he could of scored about +20 with the amount of clear chances he had during that span. He needs to go back to his bread and butter and be the player he is.

I'd ban Thiagoalcantara if I were the owner of this forum.

Why would ban him? He says the same thing as #12 and endrity just in few more words?

Idk, just because. For saying Lewandowki is unskilled and does not work hard enough.

Which, just in case, is completely false. Robert has outstanding capacity to work with the ball on tight space. He doesn't dribble much, but that is not the only valid skill there is....
