If his linkup play stays as good as it is, I don't even care about him scoring goals.

Is this something like: "We don't play to score a goal, but to win." ? :?

Lewandowski is not the only player in our team to score goals.

Think he'll score plenty anyways.

More often Lewa's first touch lets him down. So many chances missed and lost because of it. Like this beautiful cross by Benatia. Overall bargain of the year.

That was a great first touch, just the finish was poor :?

His first touch and ball control is actually really good imo.

Müller in that gif

When he turns his goalscoring mode on, that will be fun. I don't doubt in Lewa.

Essentially. But with the aspect that it doesn't need to be HIM who scores.

Yeah, like that chance yesterday when he was alone with the GK and sent the ball 3 metres ahead of him. :?

Those girls are a bit stupid because can you imagine Lewandowski always wearing a kit and playing with a ball everywhere he goes ? lol

Nice video, bad music....

I think Lewa has not yet really come into his own yet.... but i see a fire burning in this young man´s eyes that let me know , the sleeper will awaken!
I'm not talking about being a goal machine like he did at Dortmund, because like a few of you pointed out, here at Bayern he has a more integrated role almost like a false 9. Equal parts being a ball distributer and besides when your top line co-players are Götze, Robben , Müller, Ribery , then one is not the only striker on the pitch.
What impresses me most from him is his first touch from long balls, in so much as he seemingly effortlessly brings the ball under immediate control in such a way as if this is something he no longer needs to think about. I think with the introduction of Alonso´s long passes ability and Boateng´s new found love for this as well, its a matter of minute timing that will come in time. (Hopefully Neuer brings his long pass abilities back as well)
At the same time, almost all the time our game is vs 9 defenders so it s all about the 1-2 pass.
Something else Lewa does real well is shielding the ball.
If not in the big time Champions league games then maybe next year we will see Lewa making an even bigger impact...cause the fire of desire is burning here....
Statistics are like miniskirts . What they reveal is tantalizing, but what they hide is crucial.

I like the fact that he's trying really hard to score goals. I wish he scored more but like you stated everyone in our front line is a goal scoring threat. I think that works to their benefit though, as if theres that little bit of friendly competition between all 5 of them to see who can score the most. It keeps things fresh amongst the boys.

I've shown a Barca fan of the sequence in Lewa's goal yesterday and all he can say is "Damn!" Lewa's hold-up play and vision is just what was needed for more goals for everyone.

Neymar-Messi-Suarez combo is just not connecting. Neymar and Messi are fine and can anticipate each other well but they can't seem to connect with Suarez. Maybe it will take time. In terms of an attacking packed line-up, I've only seen Real Madrid with this fluid connection like ours.
