Maybe. Why didn't he make more fuss in the transfer window then, or leave it for the next one? Making it now on purpose doesn't seem overly pragmatic tbh.

Benzema didn't go anywhere and he's the only reason why Lewy isn't a RM player since 2013 or '14... maybe he knows something we don't about next year, getting ready to jump ship.

Sure, I already mentioned that he over exaggerates without a reason, many times he just messed the first touch or the positioning but he somehow blames the "passer" by his body language. The conversion rate you posted though is missing something, the clear chances. Lewy is a killer when the pass is right. It's not a coincidence that under Klopp and when Pep got rid of his crazy ideas(2016) he looked unstoppable when the offensive plan was executed right. Even last year where we were quite bad producing chances he got 40 goals.

Many of that shots are by himself without a reason,no clear chances just he gave a try to score. Most of the forwards you posted doesn't try to get a long shot or create by themselves only Suarez and Icardi have similar style. I'm trying to see the bigger picture because Griezmann for example is the perfect player for a counter team and maybe the worst for a possession team. I honestly think that strikers look x2 better when they play for a counter-attacking team.

Despite that Lewandowski must stop this attitude and let his goals and movement do the talking however he is not the problem at the moment but the team effort. If it wasn't for that damned interview everything would be ok with him...

I,again agree with you.
It's too bad that there's no way to check how many clear chances the strikers have.Overall, I find it difficult to get common criteria for these statis like clear chances.

I find stats for clear cut chances only for the Premier league (A situation where a player should reasonably be expected to score usually in a one-on-one scenario or from very close range).

He is a bomber, if the guy feels the trust of the the team and gets a proper feed he is a machine!
If he stays with us KHR & Pizzaro's stats are nothing for him with his 40 goals per season. I really want to win a UCL with him because I like him as a player, he is my wonder-type of CF. I was always a fan of classic strikers such Ruud,Batigol for example. I consider Lewy in the same class but he needs that extra thing, demolishing a couple teams in KO rounds at the CL trophy in his hands.

His show against Real Madrid '13 and Wolfsburg five goal are beyond any imagination. He is the kind of striker that in his good day you feel his presence in the opponent's box even sitting on your couch watching the game from home.

Biased stat. Why not include the German Cup and Champions League where Gómez is the highest in goals per minute played in either competition's history

Right now, arguably the best FK taker in the world. But also a big whiner.
