Lewandowski scored his 60th goal in the Bundesliga (and even 61 with his brace) with Bayern for his 80th game. Nobody did better.
In comparison, Gerd Müller needed 93 games to reach this total of goals.

One Champions League trophy. That's all he needs to win for me to consider him the best striker in Bayern history.

You mean second best striker, because nobody will ever surpass Gerd and his records.

Gerd is and will always be the greatest because of his records, but as far as technical skill goes, if Lewandowski stays consistent or gets even better throughout his Bayern career, I don't see why we can't argue that he should be in contention for being the best of the best.

Tonight he was clinical, if he was every game like this then he'd come close to Gerd.

Dunno why, but his technique today for the second goal reminded me of Makaay :)

Who cares 1st or 2nd ? I just want from this guy to hit 40 goals per season and win trophies, smashing the ball into the net like he always does, to win you the CL on his own? No attacker is capable of doing that by his own if he is not feeded well enough and I don't mean only assists but also tactical awareness by his teammates! I honestly think that our Polish Der Bomber can win you a treble if you feed him properly for every game imagine if we played like 2011 and 2012 by feeding Mario Gomez but now Lewandowski, he could smash any record!

Just for the sake of conversation Gerd Muller is untouchable, Lewandowski can claim only the 2nd place but there is also King Kalle.
Lewy can't be a threat for Gerd because of his age and stats, too old catch up with him if he was 24/25-y right now we could have a talk about that but still has a long way to go for Kalle first then we can talking about the best killer the sport has ever seen!

Still though he is already by far the best striker in our recent history after 00s at least, IMO.

Lewandowski will talk to french media "Téléfoot" after the advertising spot on french TV.

I bet the journalist will ask him about PSG.
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

I love that Lewa is carrying the goal scoring load for the team but we need goals from elsewhere if we plan to win the treble....

4-3-3 is making us 80% dependable for goals on Lewy... Muller is scoring and assisting as much as our other wingers.

Yea that's definitely a good reason, our wingers are not scoring enough when we line up in a 433 to justify that system in my opinion. Muller needs to be allowed to go back to playing centrally or the tougher teams will be able to focus on shutting down Lewa....

He said he move wouldn't have made sense at all because he sees us on the same level as Barca & Real.
