Right
Cristiano's madrid record reads 236 games 260 goals..does it matter how many sitters he has missed?

If lewa misses 10 sitters in a game but scores 5..I would easily rate him 10/10.

But if he misses 2 sitters and we end up losing then I will raise questions..

Sure but Lewa NEVER lost us a game because of his missed chances, not even once, never in Bayern shirt. Having 100% convert rate means a Wolfsburg -miracle- game one after next which is impossible. Lewandowski is a killer in the box when the ball delivery is good, you deliver, he scores. Simple!

He killed three games in a row for us(Jena,Werder,S04) has netted 4 BuLi 3 DFB and 1 assist but we're talkin' about 2 missed sitters, unbelievable!

I've noticed that Lewa is a lot more involved in the build up play this season and very eager to make runs. I feel like this season he is really going to show his true colors!

It's the Gomez saga all over again. You shouldn't give a damn about how many chances he misses but how many he scores. The fact that he has plenty of chances means he is creating chances and positioning himself well.

Well, thing is, it can be crucial... That goal against Atlético... I bet you could've scored that one... Now I know Müller missed the penalty... But Lewa wasted a ton of opportunities in that game... And one in Madrid...
Just saying he needs to work on that... Doesn't have to be as clinical as Makaay, but a little better than now would be nice...

It is the goals that count not the missed chances. Would you rather a striker who scores 35 goals a season and misses 100 sitters or one who scores 20 and misses only 10 chances?

It depents in which matches and how divided are those goals between different matches :P. Robert isn't missing 100 chances thou. Suarez also misses a ton of sitters. Barca fans have the same opinion about Suarez as some people on this forum about Lewa. Sometimes he looks clumsy and misses sitters, but sometimes he can score/create out of nowhere,

How do you know that? Vs Barcelona at Camp Nou, in 2015? I know he was handicapped wearing a mask because of a broken jaw and stuff, but he had similar misses being completely fit. What would have happened if he had scored that chance? 0-1 for Bayern. And then? We'll never know.

I love Lewy. But the most cold-hearted exectutionor in front of goal he is not.

That'd be true if it was all on him... Lots of chances he gets are also perfectly set up, you know?!
