I cannot think of any team that gave better service to their CFs than us.

Surely you'll find some in PL or LaLiga?!

Nowalka must be crazy dragging Lewandowski in many occasions as a No.10 or even the wings, that Milik guy can't link up with anybody how the hell he is considered a top talent? Unfortunately for Lewy his team is an exceptional defensive one but doesn't have a single creative midfielder, only Jakub and Pisczek can provide a good cross or assist. Lewandowski looks in a bad shape, his fatigue has hit the maximum. Great penalty kick though!

The irony. Watch again please, the service in the late part of the season was poor as ****.

But hey here are the match awards after Atletico first leg (except for the not fielding Muller bit heh) that imo sum it up quite good.

Go and read every other player ratings article from the last month and you will find the same story about these two. Absolutely nothing but scraps to work with for Lewandowski, and no Raum to Deut for Müller. Müller came on as a second-half substitute on 70′. While his starting from the bench was a source of considerable, understandable point of criticism, one struggles to think about what impact he would have made on this game.

It is almost worse that Pep Guardiola may have conceded that reality, reflected in his decision not to start the lanky German. The wingers did not pull their head up on a single Bayern counter. When a cross was sent in, it was so poor that defenders had no work to do to clear it. In that last respect, this was a worse game for Lewandowski. He recently had to fight off four or five defenders, but nothing got that far this time around.

You can disagree ofc but your opinion is a serious minority and the more Costa tried to mimic Robben and Vidal got into the box etc, everybody trying to be a hero, the more Muller and Lewy deteriorated. Not saying it's inherently wrong or sth to have a varied attack but you just can't have everybody bar Neuer shooting at goal and best service to strikers in the world the same time.

He's not been at his highest level in recent months, but this ranking is ridiculous, especially since many of the higher-ranked players are attackers.
