The transition from a youth player to a important first team player, winning titles, the EURO and making a record transfer fee to one of the best teams in the world that even a draw can trigger some critics it's unbearable for him, he is lucky enough though that Bayern's enviroment is like a family and has a big patience when it comes to youngsters and investments.

In 2016 Sanches from a completely nobody became a Portuguese star, a golden kid, a record transfer fee and left his home for Bayern maybe it's too much, you can't handle it from the bottom to the top. Renato maybe didn't even realise what he accomplished in just a single season.

Renato Sanches is a win for Bayern, I have no doubt about that but the language barrier, the different enviroment and the adjustment is hard definitely, Gaitan & Mitroglou were his best teammates now he can't even pick. You can see that he has that young kid attitude and joy from his interviews and games, when he'll adjust, toughen up and believe that this is the place that he can become great then... boom!

can't Costa and Rafinha help him a bit?
And even the Spanish guys can give some help (I am sure that he is able to speak some Spanish or vise versa)

I once read that Renato left his home to pursue his career at very young age. He comes from a tough upbringing and so far has worked very hard for what he has. For me, the "spoiled" kid narrative doesn't fly. He seems to be having a hard time adapting but I doubt it's a lack of will what's holding him back.

Kid used to get on the boat crossing Portuguese rivers and shit to attend training. Destined for stardom status.

I knew something was up and the language barrier can be tough especially if he struggles with English....

The kid will go far with that attitude. Awesome news to hear that a player so young is being mature and patient about his lack of playing time, no hissy fits, just down to business.

That's the spirit.

He should give a lesson or two to D.Costa.
Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng(Süle), Hummels(Süle), Alaba - Vidal(Martinez) - Robben(Müller), Müller(James), Thiago(Vidal), Ribéry(Coman) - Lewandowski

Sanches' attitude has always separated from young players of his generation and I'm even more confident we have an irreplaceable talent on this squad!

Will turn into a legendary player in any club he plays for. Let's hope that list of clubs only contains Fußball-Club Bayern München eingetragener Verein.

Sounds like something a manager would say to the press about a young player, instead this came out of that very player's mouth. Amazing maturity.
