Danish Pierre-Emile Højbjerg have used several of his star teammates to lean on as he fell to the Bayern Munich first team.
Danish Pierre Emile Højbjerg has in recent months been part of Bayern Munich's first team squad. But it has not been walk in the park for the only 17-year-old midfielder.

- Selvølgelig you go through a tough period where they go for you, and you get to taste the grass. But it's about knowing his place, quiet and fight. I have swallowed the bitter æblre once in a while and accepted estimates. This way you also get more respect, says Pierre Emile Højbjerg to BT.

The stars of the big German club has also been well received by the young Dane, and especially some pieces have Højbjerg could lean on.

- Now I speak the French, as a player Franck Ribery has been really good to me. The same Daniel van Buyten and Bastian Schweinsteiger. But Dante is probably the one that has taken the best of me. Him I lean very much up. After training takes me to the side and gives tips on how I should push, how to play and things like that. But we also make jokes together, he says.

Pierre Emile Højbjerg were brought to the southern German club from Brondby youth in summer. He still has his debut for good.

Ideally, I'd like him, Can and Weirauch/Friesenbichler to debut this season.

It'd be great to see Højbjerg get a debut this season.

Glad to see Dante is helping the youngsters. Same with Rib, Van Buyten (Need to extend contract, he is still class) and Basti

Those players were once youngsters when legends like Ballack, Kahn and Van Bommel were leading Bayern Munich no surprise they feel entitled to help the new young bloods :P

That makes perfect sense. Of course, those should add to the already first-teamers Can and Weiser.

I was happy with his debut, he was a little shy in his play but i think once he plays more he'll fit right in with the squad. I can't wait to see him in future games
