I for one think his blistering pace would work very well at no.10, less defensive duties more of attack. Alaba could thrive there!

Pierre is a really good player. I played against him once, and he always make perfekt passes. Never seen a better CM than him. He started as ST but had problems, as playmaker he is alot better.

The Next Alaba?

This guy could make great things by us in the near future. I'm looking forward to see him in the 1st team action in next 2 years, playing on solid level. PEH(not Pech) and Shaqiri are Bayern future.

I have no doubt that under van Gaal at this time he would be in the 1st team together with Can and Friesenbichler.

On Bayern TV they had a feature about Pierre Emile a few weeks ago, he seems like a really good guy and I wonder how the coaches will go about developing him further. He could play in the U19 a while longer and move directly to the first team eventually, or move to BMII next season, however I agree that were Van Gaal still here, he would be on the first team squad and probably getting some action quite soon

Also, I think in the topic title, his surname is missing a j, it should be hojbjerg

Possible, but still he's good enough to move to the other Bundesliga club on loan. He would benefit from that, our club would as well. Loan PEH to Leverkusen, Stuttgart or Nürnberg on 2 seasons and then get him back in the first team. Robben will be 30-31 years, Ribery 29-30...

Bayerns Youngster Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Ein neuer Spielertyp für Heynckes

New box to box midfielder is smiling to us. :) Hope he will make it and develop into a great player.

Scholl said that he is way too good for Regionalliga, but it's good to have him with all these young players.

He just needs to improve athletic(stamina or speed I suppose) which he doesn't have.

For me he should be the next guy ready for loan in some Bundesliga club, together with Can. If we cannot guarantee many games in the first team then we should loan them, raise their prices and sell them for big money one day.
