In a scale from 1 to Neuer; how good is he?

I won't compare him to Neuer but he's certainly better than Starke for me.

Reina is a superb backup option to have - Mignolet was never that amazing so Liverpool just giving up on him in the past few years never really made sense to me. And very importantly - Reina has the ball-playing skills Starke lacks, which is why this is a great deal.
The ideal team

Which world class players you refer to? Keylor Navas who isn't near world class? Casillas who is past his prime or Diego Lopez who never has and never will be world class?

Neuer and Reina anytime in front of those 3 together.

Fantastic backup. Typical Bayern Munich transfer. Unexpected, and no doubt very cost effective. That's why FCB has been writing black figures for most of the last 20 years, while others are drowning in debt, or rely on Middle Eastern or Russian petro dollars.

Indeed, why do you think that? They only spent like 12 to 15 million euro for new players this year.. Lewa and Rode for free. Sold Kroos who was creating sort of drama with his constant waiting with an answer and sold an unhappy Mandzukic.

Where is that stuff unsumpathetic?

Wow, I wasn't expecting this but I like this transfer. Reina could still start in a lot of CL teams and having him as a backup means that we won't have a heart attack if Neuer has any kind of pain before a big game. He was having a fantastic season in Napoli last year but then he got injured IIRC

We didn't want to pay Kroos's new fee, so we bought goalkeeper from Neapol whom they couldn't pay as their number one. Bayern take him as number two. Ok, we need number two GK but why Reina? Why have two TOP GK in team? For the few minutes in Pokal or in less important games?
Sorry but I don't like this way. This is Real Madrid's or Chelsea's way which I absolutely hate.

Imagine Neuer gets injured and we have to play with Starke...
KHR said Reina was desperate to join, he'll take a pay cut for sure.

Reina is the perfect 2nd GK. He's experienced, he's played some good seasons in the past few years and he won't complain sitting on the bench.

I remember how we all felt a few days before the Madrid game last season when Neuer was injured against Dortmund :)
