DYING OF HAPPINESS

Nothing concrete was said, KHR just said he will be evaluated like any other player so his future is still foggy.....

DYING OF HAPPINESS

He did say no such thing. He said that there is no concrete offer from another club, that Mario Gómez will enter the team training on Wednesday and that we'll have to wait and see.

Exactly. If anything, he muddied the waters even further.

I had the Goal thing open as well, even though i'm pretty confident in german. That was the worst live coverage i've ever seen. It was like whoever wrote it, doesn't speak german and only translated the easy stuff.

I'm very pleased with Pep,I was expecting such words about the "coach need to adapt to the team and not the other way around" about the systyem, the philosophy "my style is to attack" about our youth kids that he knows what is going on and he want to see their potentians further more and transfers "I will speak with KHR,Sammer and then we can find what we need"
Absolutely pleased with Pep,nothing more he was excellent, his work on German language means that he is here for success,I like that, very much!

Fortunately Greek Eurosport got the press conference live coverage with instant translation for all the languages(Italian,Spain,German) and I heard everything very well.

As for Goal.com I totally agree,total crap

His German improved towards the end of the conference :). I liked that he acknowledged the fact that Kalle, Uli and Sammer know the team better than him and I liked it when he said that in his opinion there are little things that should be changed.

I don't believe he learned 4 hours a day for 6 months German. I think he would have found more time to work on his accents for that. The thing that irritated me personally is that he didn't pronounce our own club's name correctly. At times he was saying 'Vayern Munshen' or 'Bayer di Munshen' . I think he could have found the time to learn to say 'FC Bayern Muenchen' properly but that's just me. There are much more important things than that and his German will definitely improve a lot.

This is not his fault, the journalists should have asked him, but I would have liked to hear his opinion on Gotze, the stiff competition for places and whether he thinks we need additional players.

He made all those media rumors of the past few months seem like nonsense. He seems to be a humble and hard working guy. Looking forward to his tenure. Anyone else laugh when they mentioned the 7-0?

Saying Bayern di München is not really wrong. We are the Bayern from Munich after all.

I think raz25 is underestimating the difficulties of learning a new language and the courage it takes to hold a press conference in a language you only learned for half a year.

I am very satisfied with the level of his German skills because the grammar is there. He only needs to add some vocabulary. As Ortlepp said, maybe we'll hear him talking Bairisch next year in Lisbon. ;)
