And how many coaches have won the treble and then been fired? I would have been more welcoming to the Pepxperiment if we had actually needed a coach at the time.

This is when I know I could never be in charge of anything big. For me 4/6 is not bad and playing amazing football in the first half of the season. But for some reason I can't find it in myself to dislike the guy even though he decided to ruin Bayern. We have the ball for so damn long, sometimes I want the other team to have it so the game can get interesting again and I can get to see our defensive side of the game. More like US sports with back and forth action. Also why are we playing with people shorter than 180 cm? We need more physical players. Lahm raus. :D

The decision to not extend the 68 year old Jupp's contract was taken when we hadn't won a single trophy (well, the Super Cup, I guess).

I thought Jupp was only willing to do one more year if Bayern couldn't find an appropriate replacement ?

He is also fourth manager ever to win champions league with 2 different teams.

If we didnt hire Pep then, Bayern would have to scramble to find most likely a lesser replacement for Jupp now.

Actually we won the treble after Pep was hired.

That's beside the point, and after all it is unrealistic to expect a treble whoever the coach and players are. The point is no one would have imagined us winning a treble in 2012/13 when Pep was announced. I've mentioned this before, but all you need to do is take a trip to the "Official coach transfer thread" and check the reactions of Bayern fans when he was first announced. You'll find that the first post expressing doubt on the decisions came 3 months after the announcement, made by none other than myself, a day after beating Barca 4-0. Obviously I was blinded by the euphoria of that win, as many Bayern fans still are.

That makes me hate Pep more. Our players could win Champions League without Pep and win the WC without Pep but with him we get embarrassed by Madrid at home.
