I don't feel guilty at all. When Pep was announced there was no way to foresee the treble. The board didn't treat him well by forcing him into retirement but he wouldn't have stayed until 2018 anyway.

Pep was the best possible replacement even if he wasn't as good as Jupp. Jupp would probably have retired in 2014 and then we wouldn't have had anyone available.

I am noticing Man C playing a lot with counters.
Shame that Pep did not apply this when with Bayern.
The German experience served him well.

Look at how well he is doing with all the players he had wanted and gotten. Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus are freaking insane. Why did we get Costa and Coman?

Was one of the worst choices to replace Jupp and he showed us that this reality with destroying us for 3 years in CL. Even with 4 over 32 players with Ancelotti, We got eliminated by RM with referee help. also we were so unlucky.

His philosophy won't work vs strong teams in CL. let's wait their season end in CL before making a conclusion about him.

Btw, Pep always got the best ouf of his wingers with giving spesific roles to them.

I think I can cast the first stone: I did not like him before he came to Munich and disliked him even more when he was here.

I do not care if he wins the CL with Manchester Citeh, maybe money will finally do it for him in his post-Barca life, with an impressive budget he finished last year 15 point behind Chelsea and 8 points behind Tottenham, after spending 500M he better show something, 100M for two fullbacks trying to win a League that Leicester won with two fullbacks worth less than 10M.

Long live Pep, but live as far as possible from Munich.

And yet I don't think he's ever coached an Italian defender, so the coaches in Italy must be seeing something there. Can you blame them, when you see the immense talent of Hummels and Boateng? 8)

The strange thing is that our defensive fiascos in Pep's time weren't actually lack of marking, but lack of tackles. In most cases the players were well positioned, they just let the opponents run past them.

Not to go into another pointless discussion on why "I hated Guardiola" (haven't we had enough of those) but there's something positive to be learned from every coach after Klinsi. That is until players like Boateng confirming today some shocking details already known about Ancelotti.

I still fing it funny we downgrade and outright "hate" someone who at least brought a tactical improvement whereas nothing is said about those who did the opposite.

Just say'n.

MANCITY-GUARDIOLA, RINNOVO A FINE STAGIONE

Pep might sign an extension to his contract which expires in 2019... However he wants to wait until the end of the current season

Well, first of all I don't think he has coached that many Italian defenders. Can't think of any

And also Italy won't be in the World Cup because they failed to score a single goal in more tan 180 minutes against SWEDEN. So they are pretty much ruining themselves

Pep's tactics have made him one of the best and most successful coaches in football history. And that's not personal opinion, that's a fact.
