Regardless of what happened under Pep and what people's opinion are of him. Under Pep Bayern looked a lot more threatening team than they have been looking under Carlo for about a year now.

I'm an optimist and I still hope that Carlo can learn from his mistakes and turn it around but the abuse and hate Pep got seems irrational and silly now. Bayern in Guardiola's last season looked special and looked like they were getting better and were on the upward of the improvement curve. I'm positive that had luck been on our side in the QF against Atletico, Bayern would have won the treble that year. Real Madrid were not that great in 2016!

Makes me wonder what could have been if Pep had extended at Bayern instead of going to that gutter called Manchester.. :-k

^ Serious question to you mate? Why are you such a pessimist? Why? Is it your personality? Or did something bad happened in your life that made you this way? :-|

You're not a "pessimist" when you're right most of the time... You're a REALIST... People that accuse someone with a - generally - accurate view on things of being pessimistic are actually called dreamers

Not that your questioning would have anything to do with either this thread or my post...

Man, two weeks ago you were saying that Gnabry was our biggest transfer this summer and that we weren't getting anything better and a couple of days after that we signed James.

So no, you're not right most of the time.

I'm not a fortune teller... But one incident is not exactly proof of your claim...

However, I was talking about our chances right now...
And James' impact on our game remains to be seen...

So Mr. #12 who in your professional opinion should be the Manager of this great club? Also, are you suggesting that Bayern copy Real Madrid, Man United, Man City and PSG in the transfer market? Is that why you keep complaining regarding Bayern's transfer policy and the players who sign for us?

I and I'm sure others on this forum would really like to know who is your ideal choice as coach and which players you think should be at Bayern and what prices Bayern should be willing to pay for them. Looking forward to a detailed reply in this regard from yourself.

Thank you.

We played better under Pep in every way compared to Ancelotti. 15/16 was statistically our best season under Guardiola, btw.

l'm with giving time to Carlo, yet he ruined our mercato with his another son, so Carlo looks motivated to play us with 10 players for always with his sons.

Don't even talk about Pep, he failed and it doesn't make him better than Carlo.

Btw, Pep is great coach for league for small teams, while his style won't work for CL and big games in Bundesliga. After all, he is the history, he is the past. talking about him is just waste of the time.

You might think Pep failed (I disagree), but how does that mean he's not better than Ancelotti. For one thing, you just need to see Bayern's performances in 15/16 and 16/17 to notice it was a massive downgrade.

You say Pep is a great coach for small teams, but the major criticism directed towards him is that he's never coached one. You say his system is great for the league; so he IS better than Ancelotti, who sucks in the league. You say it doesn't work in the CL, yet he's won 2 out of (I think) 9 CLs and reached semifinals in almost all of the others. The supposed CL-specialist whose system works for KO competitions has only won one more, in many more years of coaching. We also had our worst CL performance since 2011.

You might think Pep is overrated, but that's because some people think he's the best in the world. So yeah, even if he's overrated he's still good; his team's results show that except for last season. Ancelotti, without a doubt, is overrated. As far as Bayern are concerned all 3 of Pep's seasons were better than last season, so the claim that we would be better off if he extended is valid. And while it's true we had younger superstars, I believe this season we have spent much more than any of the past 5 years, yet Ancelotti seems clueless about what to do with new players.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I've lost complete confidence in our coach.

Btw, who were you referring to as his son? James? He's the only one still giving me some hope for the season tbh
