Meanwhile, Martinez laughed off suggestions by Sevilla midfielder Samir Nasri that former Bayern coach Pep Guardiola has strict rules stating players must not have sex after midnight.

"Pep never said that to us in the dressing room, or perhaps if he did say it, I didn't want to listen," Martinez said. "But that doesn't bother me -- I'm usually asleep before 12 anyway."

Lol don't be such a smartass. He'd do a much better job than Ancelotti while blindfolded and having his mouth taped on.

The change was too drastic I think.

Went from an overcontrollive perfectionist manager, to a smooth, maybe too nonchalant manager. THe players are probably used to pep up their asses, however, with Carlo in charge, they are taking it easy. (Which could still work for Champs league and domestically)

True!

However, it's not really an accomplishment to do better than a guy who does absolutely nothing but eat and drink to grow fatter instead of what he's actually paid for...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

He can stay where he is.Pep had his own weaknesses, his own issues. Pep destroyed Bayern, then Ancelotti came. He didn't fix Pep era's debole points and added more to fix. He is destroying us more than Pep now.

We need a german coach anymore,a real coach not jokes.

Pep made Bayern globally a top tier team.

Had bayern not gotten Pep, Bayern would of faded in Europe. Unless people thought bastian, martinez, robbery all were going to be healthy forever and the Spanish clubs keep sucking.

Pep gave his men a vision a goal and the way to achieve that goal. At City, you can already see pep's identity in the team already. When bayern lost Pep, the team lost a lot of their identity.

Went from a very well structured team to a team that relies on individual players without the proper personnel. I, like many here, use to hate Pep quite a lot, until I got older and realized his methods and vision. He might not be the ideal manager to manage egos, but everything else I put him up top

And away games huh?

With that squad and the lucky draws he had - nothing special...
Admittedly though, Ancelotti: pure shit!
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Agree his away records were aweful. But he atleast worked hard and took every game seriously. Good or bad he had 3-4 plan for each game and wasn't afraid of changing things as soon as things wasn't working.

This

And FYI some of you are calling jokes or rubbish to some coaches that have won dozens or trophies including several CL's or even trebles

If Pep an Ancelotti are joke coaches, what are the rest?

There's not a magic formula to win trebles every year and we're seeing how one of the best coaches in Europe like Ancelotti is struggling with our great Bayern team. So this gives more credit to Pep and proves that winning BL is NOT as easy as some of you thought.

Managers can be at the right time and right place or wrong time and wrong place. Just watch rookies like Enrique and Zizou with our managers former clubs emulating their successes. Managers are overrated, especially those who never managed a low budget team.
