It's some kind of game right?

Pep rocks...

- in the bedroom?
- at cooking?
- the stage?

Cause it sure as hell can't be man-management or chosing a good lineup

Seriously though: IMHO he did good as a curator/custodian of success, but he did nothing special... They all ramble on about his tactical versatility and shit, when in fact that's only gimmickry... Actually, I think he put too much on the players, overloading them and this endangering - and ultimately giving away success...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

I think it's not tactical versatility as much as formation flexibility. With Pep we successfully played with a number of different formations and players played in different roles but the tactics were ultimately similar. The kind of openness to using different formations is something I'd like to see Ancelotti keep.

Ok, that's actually what I meant... In German (TV) that's always mingled and mixed up... I think I caught on to that...

Yes it did look boring at times. but
- it was not all Peps fault that other teams parked the bus and defended with 9-10 players.
- Remember Pep likes to defend with the ball as much as some coaches like to defend with out it.
- I agree the intensity was missing in some games and it is normal in to some degree you cannot play a perfect game week in week out.
- we should look back in few years to see what was his impact on Bayern. We didn't like Van Gaal playing style (even more boring than Pep's) but there is no debut that he laid the foundation of today's Bayern.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him, but the further from Bayern the better. It is going to be a real test, if in the BL at Bayern he had a budget much larger than its next competitor in the EPL even with so much cash at his disposal at Citeh he will have 6-7 clubs with decent budgets to challenge his team and that's where he failed for the most part in the last 3 years: against meaningful competitors.

Can he find success in first season? If so, will it last? Look at how high Rafa Benitez was rated at Liverpool at one point at look at where he is now: relegated to the 2nd Division team.

She’s beauty, she’s grace, if u tell her she only watches football for the attractive players she’ll punch u in the face.

I don't know what the members who have traditionally been vocal against Pep think, but I believe that if you compare how we played in his first season to how we were last season you can notice a huge difference (for the better) in this regard.

You are right... we started to improve in his last season

Well... I think till like March 14 we played extraordinarily well...
Then we lost it for quite a bit... Actually... All his "Rückrunden" were nothing special... Maybe it was the break?!
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!
