He will have to basically revamp the whole squad and the sad part is... Shitty fans don't even care, they will be happy with their club dumping all of their players and getting new ones. I can picture Pep struggling on the EPL otherwise. Passing to your keeper is a no-no in England, and CB barely know anything other than clearing the ball as far as possible. Patience is also non-existent there. Also, the ball spends more time on the air than on the ground there; as someone said, England plays "Ping-Pong football".

Anyway, it was good to have Pep around, I really enjoyed the fluency he brought to the team (positions-wise), but it is clear it was time for a change and going back to basics, so I'm happy. Hope Carlo does better in the injury front (we will know whether they were Pep's fault or not in 2-3 seasons).

I enjoyed Pep's time here, as irritating as it was at times. I think he received a lot of unfair criticism, but also was treated too kindly by the board. His innovations and passion for the game were a real treat to watch and one can't deny that he took the image of this club to another level.

Anyway, good like at your new (cheating, scum, plastic, sheikh-rich  ) club, Pep.

Pellergini announced summer departure which means family reunion at City shall finally happen. I'm glad that I won't see or hear those stupid and boring media stories anymore.

Please do not discuss Pep with Bayern anymore. This thread has been unlocked for the sole concession of discussing his move to Man City, nothing more nothing less.

It's certainly something we should keep an eye on. If City suffer an influx of injuries similar to our last season, then we can pinpoint an issue of our own current woes (which should, in this case, be bygones by then). Considering City plays more games per season than we do with an even thinner squad, then if they do not overtake our injury record, the issue has been us the whole time.

Pep chose Bayern over Chelsea 3 years ago supposedly because of Bayern's rich history saying that he'a a romantic for history rich clubs. It's hilarious that after saying this a few years ago, he goes out & chooses a sugar daddy club with little to no history. I was happy that he was leaving because I was getting tired of his style & all the injuries & mismanagement of more physical players like Bastian & I am more than happy to welcome a proven successful coach like Ancelotti. I have very little respect left for this coach considering his work with the club & choices he made after trying to look like someone who chooses clubs based on football reason instead of $$$.

I know my opinion may not be what most people think but it is what it is. Goodbye Pep. I, for one, will not miss him for a second.

I was thinking the same thing. This team will look miserable defensively with that horrible Joe Hart trying to handle the ball with his feet & their average defenders playing a high defensive line to end up being exposed easily by the pacy EPL players. It'll be fun to watch!

or maybe he was just experimenting here and he won't repeat the same mistakes...
After all I don't blame him; he just wanted to be fully prepared to the day when he set foot in England... to the most beautiful league... :coffee:
