I enjoy watching Pep's tactics, gives me more ideas for fifa14. Also, compared to how other teams and their new coaches have started off(Man U and Moyes, Chelsea and Mou, Ancelotti and Madrid), we're doing amazing!

I was expecting a much more turbulent start to the season...but if you compare last seasons 1st half under Jupp and now under Pep...we are in much better position and have a better statistics...considering we also had much more injury problems.

This winter training camp and friendlies will be huge for us as now our players know what Pep demands of them and they will have a chance to take it to 100% and come back even stronger.

Great job by him. Wouldnt it be great if we could break our habit of changing coaches every few years and just stick to one for some 10 years? I hope Pep likes it here and doesnt wanna move elsewhere after few seasons.

That is a big wish of mine but i wouldnt be surprised if Pep moves on after 5 years or so, he seems like he wants to be a journeyman of sorts and coach in different countries but i wouldnt mine if he stuck around for 10+ years and become like our Fergie :P

As long as there's success, he'll stay around.

So i heard somewhere that Pep is making 17 Mill per year before taxes...can this be true?
Statistics are like miniskirts . What they reveal is tantalizing, but what they hide is crucial.

I think he's the highest paid manager [source]
both club and country. It was Mourinho before when he was in Madrid earning I think 10M. If we include national teams, I think
Scolari earns around £14 Million too. [source]

Why on earth would anyone pay a national team coach so much?

One thing we have more than Barca I think is, our management is more peaceful and stable that would give Pep what he needs when we can give it.

Don't forget what a huge role politics play in Spain. He grew tired of this and decided he needed a break. There were also issues with some of the players.

This is a quote from Pep's biography and it's taken from when he was at Barca:

"I have to conserve this passion that I have for what I do. The day that I stop feeling it, I will leave. Now I want to tell a player off and then hug him immediately after. If you lose that, that's bad...when I stop correcting a player during training, it will mean that I have lost my passion. When I no longer get excited, I will go."

During a sports conference in Dubai, Guardiola said that his dream is to one day return to coaching youths, as he was doing with Barcelona B. [source]

And there we were hoping he'll stay at our helm for some 10 years or so...

I kinda understood the opposite from the statement, unless he intends on taking over from Gerland one day.
