Think what you want, but Pep definatly was an appropriate replacement.

Definitely true... Age alone is enough reason... It'S just that he was in no way "better" than Jupp - but the latter got way less reputation for his work - and was way more in the background as a silent observer...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Interesting to see another journalist's take on the 'reliable' Kicker as well.

Pep Guardiola has already chosen his next club after telling Bayern Munich of his decision to leave at their Christmas party, according to chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge... [source]

I wonder what was Kalle's reaction when he heard "City"... he was probably like "what? can you repeat that?"
Nice... Kalle had nice words for oily clubs always.

Prior to the double header in the UCL S/F 2013 I remember asking myself(and it was not only me I guess) Are we in a way going to ask for an advice from our future coach?
Today I can say that we should have done so last year instead.
Asking Jupp how to do it...

I don't know if it is the fact that you clearly have nothing better to do than contaminate this place or the fact that you make stuff up as you go along but either way, you should really stop making up stuff. Too bad none have the guts to ban you yet.

Why are you always after a ban for someone? Can't you accept others' opinions?

What opinion? Every time there's a post he replies with some BS negativity or makes stuff up. You call that an opinion? Just because you are the second idiot to keep thanking him doesn't mean you shouldn't reject his made up stories y'know.

I really don't have any negativity towards Guardiola for going out this way. Telling your club 7-8 months ahead that you are leaving is no different than 10-12, plus I am sure that in many ways the board already expected this. Seeing how we have moved on with another great coach in no time means that we were quite prepared. Actually I am impressed by the professionalism of them all, at least in public, on how this went down. Pep, Carlo, Bayern all seem to be behaving as business-as-usual throughout. Nothing but respect for all.

But in a way the reason why I don't feel so bad is that I never really loved Guardiola. Those two CL semifinal losses hurt a lot, and still do. Not that we lost, but the way we were completely humiliated. As good as the team seemed to be at times, there was always a hint of fragility behind all the big wins that was not present in Jupp's years in my opinion. And it alwas came back to haunt us in the big games. If Pep was a coach I truly loved maybe I would be a bit more dissapointed, but he's not, so I am glad with all the professional behaviour throughout.

You mean like these:

“I don’t understand Rummenigge’s behaviour against Manchester City,” Mancini said. “For six months he talks against us every time for financial fair play and he continues to say he hopes Napoli go through to the second stage. I don’t know what’s different with us. I think Manchester City are working for this FFP for the next two years. But I don’t understand what happening with Rummenigge. Tomorrow [on Wednesday] I will ask him.”

So, Wanker, want to continue making things up?
