It is his choice... & his loss ... Not that I will lose sleep on but even to change from Muenchen to Manchester as a city is already a crazy thing to do let alone the honour of being FCB coach compared to be the coach of an oily plastic club like man c...
At least Paris dear Pep.

I fully expect Pep to extend his contract with FC Bayern for another year or two.

The reports that Pep has been in talks with Man City or any other club are absolute lies.

Pep will discuss his future with Uli and Kalle then the club will announce the decision not the English/Spanish press.

One yr would be a joke. If his representatives propose a one yr ext our board will hopefully refuse. If he signs for a yr we will be in another limbo next yr.
He either signs a two yr contract or else; Adios ...

If it's true there are two things:

1. I don't get why the charade would be continued by Sammer (and others) then... If they actually know and do that kind of shit, screw them...

2. If he actually leaves, even worse for City, then he can go **** himself... I wouldn't want a coach her that not only loses almost every one of the most important games with his stupid experiments but also doesn't acknowledge and appreciate what it means to be coach of Bayern **** Munich!
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

First it would be good to finally see the end of this long drawn farce, unfortunately we will still have to see the effects that will come out after the announcement. I hope that the latest matches are not 1st signs of one effect already.

Secondly, if this is true then a big thank you goes to the genius/es responsible for this mess in the middle of the season. Seriously wishing that this 'Pep soap opera' will not change a hopeful CL season to a shameful one.

and if he goes I wish him that he finds supporters that will be as cool and lenient as most Bayern Munich supporters, after his next trip to Camp Nou drooling over Messi.

Looks like this is finally going to be resolved after the Hannover game, one way or another...

I think our board should avoid giving a one year extension to Guardiola. We should either make sure that it is of two years or more, or part ways amicably at the end of the season, and move immediately to appoint a successor. If rumours are true we are already in contact with Ancelotti, who is probably the best option available to us.

Other teams like Manchester United and Chelsea might be looking for new coaches at the end of this season, or even before it. We need to make sure that we snag Ancelotti before either of them, because if not we might be hard-pressed to find a suitable coach (and I am one of those that does not advocate the appointment of Mourinho to our club).

It really feels like a departure is likely, if one is inclined to read into words. I certainly don't think it's unlikely, yes, but it seems more in character that he goes off to another year on a sabbatical.

Marca "knows" that:

He feels that things have reached breaking point because of a fundamental disconnect between his footballing philosophy and the club's ethos, not to mention certain man-management issues he has had with the squad.
