Someone, fire that Italian **** already! I don't care who, I don't care how much it costs or who'll be the next coach - just make sure he's gone and he stays gone!!!

I have a book actually let me call it The Book translated to English but stopped reading it cause it blew my mind ... apparently the translation is not very helpful and the author was not an implacable one either.

I think I've stumbled upon that, yes... I will finish my - yet again! :P - OT-ing right after this post btw :P :D

My former history professor - whose only flaw is that he was born in Dortmund, and, you know... :P - has recently published a great one that is reminding me of the course my studies (probably because his seminars were relevant to it :P ):

Hitler. Der Künstler als Politiker und Feldherr. Eine Herrschaftsanalyse. Siedler, München 2015, ISBN 978-3-8275-0058-8.

I don't know whether there's an English translation yet...

Which reminds me he's also writing about soccer history...

Der lange Weg zur Bundesliga: zum Siegeszug des Fussballs in Deutschland. LIT, Münster 2004, ISBN 3-8258-7261-0

Geschichte des Fußballs in Deutschland und Europa seit 1954. Kohlhammer, Stuttgart 2013, ISBN 978-3-17-022641-8.

and an English one:
European Football and Collective Memory. (= Series Football Research in an Enlarged Europe.). Palgrave Macmillan, Basingstoke 2015, ISBN 978-1-137-45014-2.
I'm done :D

That's funny! You just forget one rule: "winner dictates info war and interpretation of any facts after certain period of history is closed" You can read anything you want to shape your mind and if you take it as certain that's your problem.

funny, soon as I mentioned the word read and war you jump to conclusions. yet somehow you leave aside things like sources, comparative studies, personal accounts among others. Hell, you didn't even ask for a author or publisher.

congratulations, that trigger quick analysis must be a Godsend.

damn that's the most off topic off topic in the last year.

Funny how I wasn't a thorn in the eyes of some when I was backing Pep and humanity wasn't flawed, hopeless and not destined to a life of unobjectivity, uncontrolability and meaningless pride and prejudice. WOW!

I was already tired of studying Nazi Germany in my first year as a history student. What an overdiscussed subject. The fact that only German archives from that period have been opened to the general public contributed greatly, I guess. We can only guess what gold lay in the US and Russian (Soviet) archives about that period of time.

All I can say is that #zwölf, going into teaching history is a noble cause - I honestly couldn't bring myself to it.

@ Jancker: In all fairness, and not to weaken your power of invention and baseless creativity, your comments on Pep were not the target. The thing is I have a deep admiration for compounded bullshit of the complication level type. Yours is a case study were it not for the shallow deep effort you have to put in to discover there's very little to base your asertiveniess.

in short, when you make things up, at leave have the courtesy to throw in some disorted facts or half baked truths of the Jurassic Park type to make it interesting in the future.

apologes for the fast typing/spelling.

Sorry, what you wanted to say? Very wind up post with nothing in it, just rhetorical exercise.

What is CNN? I'm sorry but I don't have any official news sources, my info comes only from on line trusted sources.
