I am happy that he's playing a more traditional back 4 this year, it seems like we are much more stable as a team. I hope he takes his tinkering down a bit. He's brilliant in teaching his teams how to keep the ball and move without it, but I feel he tries to outsmart himself by putting new positions etc. A traditional 4-2-3-1 yesterday and we seemed as good as ever.

Having speed on the wings does help though.

Hello, we had a Deep lying playmaker and a marauding left back play the center back positions. pretty nontraditional i'd say. But i do get what you are saying. And pep would probably tinker again when the CBs are back

4231 doesn't fit as at all ATM. And we played far from traditional football yest.

In terms of players' positions, yes. But it was a really good plan and the guys excecuted it perfectly. We were much more stable than when we play with two CB that stay in midfield, we utilized counter-attacks, we contained the midfield. It was a really good tactical plan - traditional or not doesn't matter
