And another question: Will new coach survive Spanish legion in Bayern?
I am quiet worry about harmony in locker room after Pep's departure.

I hope he stays. He must be frustrated about not having had a full squad last season (first season was pure adaptation time). He should stay 2-3 more years and rip the rewards of what he's already sawn.

In the PK before the Guangzhou match Pep was asked if he could think of coaching Guangzhou Evergrande. His answer was something along the lines "Me?! I don't know... at the moment it's not possible, nor next year but... I don't know." Probably means nothing but maybe he's thinking of extending for a year?

Haha, bravo gospodine Burko! But I believe the question should be reformulated: "Will Spanish legion survive at Bayern?"

Especially if new coach would come from non-Spanish speaking territory. :) Maybe some of them like Thiago, Martinez and Vidal would survive, the rest... Well, we have to name who else is there besides the mentioned fellas, grandpa Alonso and Bernat.

"Grandpa Alonso" had a two year contract. He will almost surely be gone by the time we have a new trainer.

i love it... people make such an issue about the "Spanish" taking over the team... but when you get down to the individuals, it's like "Thiago... well he's good enough... so is Martinez... Vidal of course... and Bernat was great!"... so really, their only problem is with Pep (who will probably leave after the season) and Xabi (who will definitely leave after the season)

When Bayern buy german players, they destroy the league and weaken their opponents.
When Bayern buy foreign players, they destroy their identity and waive their heritage.

When Barcelona was taken over by the Dutch, people used to chant "Más catalanes, menos tulipanes." Then the trophies came. None chanted no more.

I didnt see the press conference, but fussballtransfers quotes Pep saying that he is not convinced an extension of his own contract is best for the club...

I like that from him tbh.

I remember Alves once said when Pep first joined Barca, "as long as the players believe in him, he'll stay, but when they stop he'll pack his bags". Which I can respect he's not here to destroy clubs etc as some people may seem like any other coaches he wants success just has his own way. I believe this season maybe the big thing for him, or he's playing with the players in order to get them to perform similar to Jupp in his final season. If he brings the CL home, he may sign another year or 2 to try to get it again, if not and players really lose faith he could leave.
