Sadly, yawning doesn't help. You'll almost certainly meet the couple of points in that post rehashed and regurgitated many many times.

I wonder whether something like it could be turned into a PepRaus FAQ, and posted somewhere. Then every time the same old stuff comes up again we could yawn, point to the FAQ and clarify that we've heard it all before - right there. It would also be a great saving for those posters who can't be arsed retyping the stuff.

Not a bad idea - similar to what I've seen at Arsenal forums re Wenger out and Wenger In.

Believe me, this is nothing compared to the french-speaking forum I used to visit before I finally decided to pose my suitcases here. Pep was served on breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday in such a way that even Pavlov would have been very proud of the repetitive nature of the discussions that were taking place in there.
A forum full of depressive people who evacuate their daily frustration on a man guilty of having lost two matches. Here, we're in paradise.

Why not? After all, we've had (or have) players like Ribery, Sagnol and (to some extent) Lizarazu. And I guess Ismael might count.

(I also wanted to list Pfaff as one but luckily I checked my facts first...)

FourFourTwo's 50 Best Football Managers in the World 2015: No.2

It’s a measure of the heady standards by which Pep Guardiola is judged that a season of domestic success and a lengthy European campaign is viewed as a relative failure in some sectors, when other coaches would be lauded for the same achievements in less-than-ideal circumstances.

Because of those fitness problems, we rarely got to see what Guardiola’s side were truly capable of, but on the occasions where it was possible they were nothing short of spectacular.

At their fleeting fittest and best in 2014/15, Guardiola’s team were the most versatile and most complex in Europe

The biggest criticism that can be levelled at Guardiola from the Barcelona games is the confirmation that without Robben and Ribery, his system falls apart against the best, and that other players are incapable of delivering the change of pace necessary in the final third.

If Bayern can stay healthy this year and/or successfully provide quality backups for Ribery and Robben, I feel like no team will be able to contain them. My criticism of Pep has been that no one can consistently perform up to his tactical standards, but in those games where it really clicks... man, that is a good team.

That is one of the fairest and most accurate criticisms I've read about Guardiola, and I'd agree with it. Guardiola's tactics place demands on players - not merely on the wingers but right across the pitch - that the many of the Bayern players can't always deliver when the top players are unavailable.

Maybe cos the players weren't the type that fit the system. If he tries to go an force that system on a Chelsea or a Ateletico Madrid or even PSG or Madrid, the results would be very similar. You need a very certain set of players to have it executed properly. And when people park buses against that system, you need a Messi / Robben kind of talent to break the bus. Else you just keep on doing the same thing over and over again in attack. I feel that's where we fell short this year with Robben injured in the crucial games. But that also highlights a severe limitation of this system against organized defences.
