But look at the trend. It's obvious that we need more players. That's the point im trying to make.

What players and in which positions? Do you even know our squad? Bayern were absolutely CRIPPLED this season, but buying new players just for playing safe isnt happening.

Not defending Pep, but talking more generally: Trend means absolutely nothing in football.

I like Guardiola and I also think he fits us, but I don't understand what he's waiting for to extend for 2 more years at least.

I was never in love with the Pep hire but there is a reason the guys at the top picked him. Will he get an extension? I think so. Will he lead Bayern to a CL title? Probably. This season the team had injuries to key players, would they have beaten Barca with a squad that was 100%? Maybe. I say if he doesn't lead Bayern to a CL title then time to say goodby and part ways

Same thing he did at Barcelona. Repeated 1 year contracts extended towards the end of the season. In order to keep himself motivated, I'd guess.

I have zero hope he can lead us to a CL title after the way we have been humiliated the last two years. Add to that the fact that the spine of the team looks extremely weak to me. Our midfield has gone from world's best to a collection of oft-injured, out of positions midgets. There is no way a Lahm-Thiago-Alaba midfield, or whatever this philosopher-wanna-be puts out there, will be able to deal with the midfielders of Barca, Chelsea, Real, Juve, PSG ... heck even Atletico or ManU at this point.

We have gone from having absolute starts at various positions in 2013 to having very few certainties anywhere out there. Neuer and Boa I guess, and that's about it. Lewa and Muller are badly coached, Robben is often injured, and Alaba as good as he is in midfield is not as elite as he is on LB.

We had the best GK, the best RB, the best LB, the best LW, the best RW and the best midfield duo in the world in 2013

Apart from Boateng improving, we have gone backwards and I have no f*cking idea how others don't get that
