Old news at this point... plus Pep said in the press conference today that he'll be at Bayern next season (although he wouldn't say otherwise the day before a CL semifinal...)

Can't see tweet? Click here!

There you go. Now the question is: does he sign a contract extension, or will he leave after next season? Also, how does that affect the rebuilding process that is beginning?

Robben's first injury was a stomach muscle tear (or something like that)
His second injury (now) is a calf muscle tear (or something like that)

How are the two related? Can we say he got injured because he was rushed back?!!

Pep Guardiola: "I have won my titles at Barcelona because I was at a super club with outstanding players. I said that 1,000 million times during my time at Barcelona. I did my best here at Bayern from day one. When Bayern are happy with me, I am happy too."
Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola dismisses Manchester City speculation [source]

Didn't he take Bayern after the club had won the treble and these same players were the base of the Germany team on its way to win the World Cup? Am I missing something here: I thought Bayern was also a superclub with outstanding players.

Hope he doesn't forget he was hired by a club a year after that same club annihilated these outstanding players he's talking about.

You'd have to ask a physician to get a qualified answer. But I think if a player is indeed rushed back and isn't fully fit, the likelihood of picking up an injury increases, no matter what the initial injury was (or whether the reason for his absence was an injury at all, or some other illness that took him out for an extended time period). As has been said, that's all after the fact, and we don't know know how his health status really was. He re-entered team training only shortly before he played the Dortmund game, if I remember correctly.

Unfortunately I had the same feeling while I was watching his press conference.

Thomas Müller sounded more like how Bayern coach should be.. I thought I was misinterpreting.

Can't for the love of god understand the subs. Why sub off Müller? Is this just to prove a point? That he can?

We looked lively on the wings with Lahm playing sort of a SMF-WF, and we ended up subbing him off too.

The 2 subs in the end practically killed our game off (we literally gave up at that point).

I still maintain that if he doesn't extend beyond 2016, he needs to go.

No we didn't. Lewa created a chance for Goetze in the dying minutes IIRC and I forget when the last Benatia header was but I think it was also after the subs.

Lahm was visibly tired.

Im sick with this Muller "off" comments. This was the damn 87 minute. He was subbed off to take a big applause from the crowd.Deal with it.Also,Gotze have one good chanse to score immediately after the substitution.
