Correct. He was a big hero in Asia.

I discovered Bayern because of Kahn in that World Cup. Doesn't get any more heroic than that

L'Equipe is bullshit most of the time when they talk. But let's see..
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

That's why he suggested Lahm to not take the job...

We did someone with experience.

Sammer had a lot of experience from the DFB or even as a coach..

Kahn has nothing.
Lahm has nothing.

And I'm sure Nerlinger had nothing too.

Listen..as far as management is concerned we are doing without a replacement for sammer so thats not a problem..the sporting director will be sitting in the dugout he HAS TO be a person having personality..that leaves one choice..Oliver Kahn..People won't dare returning to dressing room after performing the way they are if he's in charge..thats what bayern need..as far as management is concerned people can share responsibilities like they are doing now..

Very good point. Having Kahn on the sideline and in the locker room could help tremendously.

Maybe this is a reaction after Costa declarations on press. Wait for Kahn to slap Costa's mouth with the back of his big hand
