He plays for Energie Cottbus and is currently the top goal scorer in the second Bundesliga. His father claims that there has been contact with Dortmund, Bayern, Schalke, Leverkusen and other clubs.

Well

I say weird

but remember we have been Linked with Aristide Bance When Mainz were in 2nd Bundesliga

i laughed my a$$ off

but when he played in the 1st Bundesliga and saw him , I said that we should definitely go for that Guy as he could play like Hell

Nils Petersen is 21 years old and is German

i think that it would be a good future investment (Klose and Olic are older than 30 ) , and we would need a striker

Bayern could surely use someone like him in the first team, Klose is getting old and Nils can learn allot from Miroslav and Mario. Also it would be nice to add yet another future German star to already good young rooster.

I saw him in some games this season and he is nothing special yet. In fact, I didn't like him

Never seen the player in action, but seems to me like the right thing to do.
A young german striker is required and he sounds like a perfect fit

I don't know what to think of this, it could turn out to be good, and it could turn out to be a failure.

There are fresh rumours linking us to Petersen. To note that Nils Petersen is the top scorer of the 2nd division.

It's on kicker as well now.

Nils Petersen is 1.88m tall, a good height for an attacker.

So let me get this straight. 4 mil, 21 year old proven striker to replace Klose? Can't see how this can go wrong.

... and probably a quarter of the wages
But I wouldn't go as far as to call him "proven" just because he did well in the 2nd division.
He has represented Germany at U19 (4 games, 2 goals), U20 (3 games, 0 goals) and U21 (2 games, 0 goals) levels
