I hear (not confirmed) that Nerlinger stated: We are pleased to have Weiser & Can... "in our first team." Can anyone confirm? If true it's quite a statement.

Edit: Found quote:

We are pleased that in Mitchell Weiser and Emre Can we have two of the most talented young German players in our senior squad," Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger said in response to the signing.

I was suprised myself, but Can and Weiser will be in the first team, they also announced that Weiser will have number 23. However I'm sure he will play for the second team, like Can and Köz did this past season, with a few callups to first team.
Best way to know will be to check who they register for CL, that's always quite informative

Like any young player, they are considered for the first team, train with the first team to see how they do, and possibly even fill the numbers as needed for BL and CL -- it doesn't guarantee they'll even make the bench -- we have 11 players on the pitch with 7 on the bench (18 total for game time) -- and our full team will be anywhere from 23+ players. So Weiser and Can will have to prove themselves at the higher level. They'll probably get playing time in certain games.

According TM his main position is rigth wing, we allready have 3 rigth wingers  , but his secondary position is left winger so i assume we have ribery back up issue done.

Can play back and wing on both sides.

He was originally a RM/RAM/RW... But he was used in some games at RB in the u17 tournament, because that u17 team did not have enough reliable defenders... His skills as a right-back needed some refinement back then... and I have no idea how well he has developed as a defender since then...

Very, VERY few fullbacks actually start out in that position, e.g. Lahm.

For the sake of our young players like Weiser and Can, i hope we can play a more dominant league campaign the upcoming season, hopefully putting results in the bag by the 60th Minute, so we can allow game time for these players. It saddens me how this last campaign played out, where Petersen and Usami couldn't get a minute in.
