Why not summarize the article and translate it? Because I don't think many of us speak german.

Will do! Just that I was unable to do that while working and on my phone... ;)
As soon as I find the time (maybe by tommorrow) I will post a summary...

Hey I'll try to do this

- Reschke, the unsung hero of Bayern

Four players decided the match against Juventus: Coman, Costa, Kimmich, Vidal. Initially, Guardiola wasn't convinced by all of them.

(now they show the old photo of Coman)

The photo shows a dazzling, but silent hero. He's wearing yellow pants, sneakers with yellow stripes and a golden necklace with a cross. Even his hair is streaked yellow. His hair is messy, but it fits those August days. (this part was a little too poetic, but irrelevant, so excuse my mistakes)

The dazzling hero is Kingsley Coman and he's in a Munich cafe, who shortly prior to that had left Turin and then signed an agreement with Bayern. Many months later, his dribbles and a goal sent Bayern to a 4-2 win against his former club.

The unsung hero is Michael Reschke, the squad planner. He doesn't like to appear in the media, especially not in August, when so many things have to be planned and executed. His work is done behind the doors and it's hard to find proofs. This photo is a rare testimony to his work - but so is the 4-2 win to Juventus.

The fact that Bayern managed to qualify for the quarter-final means the transfer strategy has to be credited. The match also showed that it's hard to keep such a club on top only with its own products. The 4-2 demonstrates Reschke's importance.

These four players came last year at Bayern and their value was demonstrated last night. Kimmich was the least :?: :?: conspicious :?: :?: of this Kuartet (whatever the word in English is). He played with confidence as a centre-back, even though it was a foreign position to him a few weeks ago.

The two acrobatic speedy wingers Coman & Costa pushed the team into quarterfinals with their plays and sprints: Costa assisted the 2-1. And finally there was Vidal, the aggressive general, who pushed the team forward until the end.

These cases were long stories, the easiest being Kimmich. Pep trusted Reschke when it came to the 21 year old. He was less euphoric for Vidal, but was outvoted by Reschke & Rummenigge, who keeps open channels with the Juventus leadership. The club observed many talented players from Europe and finally laid a list in front of Guardiola.

Guardiola agreed immediately to Douglas Costa's transfer, whom he had met several times in Champions League. There was also Coman to be borrowed - with a loan fee of 7 million in two years and then 21 millions for the final buying fee.

With these four transfers, the team is well-prepared for the future. There is still a successor to Lahm to be found, but the task is not very hard: the 32 year old is still the best option.

MY COMMENTS:

A little too tabloid-y for my likes.

foursome or quartet...
conspicuous is okay, I guess, they mean that the transfer also was very noiseless...

In this case, maybe, I just need to mention that SZ usually is anything but tabloid... ;)

But you're not entirely wrong...
I still thought it was interesting, because it had a few insider facts revealed that were previously unknown... We knew thyt Guardiola didn't exactly request that Vidal transfer... But he was not as opposed as he was said to be the whole time... Also, he was a little hesitant about Coman but convinced of Costa right away...
And it points out that Reschke already has a significant impact on our squad...

That RB could be his masterpiece...

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how they practiced human cloning.

In a laboratory in Munich, a new, 23 year old Philipp Lahm was created.

Wow... This is an embarrassment. Every member of our team has to actually clarify this? F Pep.

Why I'm having an impression that your are frustrated lately with these situations around the team and the club? :)

Relax and stay calm and positive! We aren't that fúcked up after all. Reschke certainly won't move anywhere. Nor Allianz Arena.

I know, but I think the fact that so many people have had to come out and clarify indicates that made some sort of attempt. And if he isn't, well **** him anyway, he's going to the most horrible team in Europe, could have done better.

Actually, the fact that Kalle had to speak out and tell Shitty to keep their hands off our players clearly indicates that they tried. I'm certain that they tried or are trying to lure someone out. Don't know if it was Alaba, or maybe Neuer or Lewy, but I'm sure they are trying to steal something.

Might have a point there. I honestly still just think it's the media putting 2+2=5.

But if Guardiola is recruiting for City at this point I am for firing him now. He better find a way to steer clear of this conflict of interest and fulfill his duty to the people actually paying his salary right now.

Do you want me to send you some money so you can buy some more straws to grasp at? Because I'm sure you must be running out at this pace.

Media? Yes, definitely playing their part in this... But... Munich has never been easy media-wise (and sporting-wise as well ) for any coach...
And if you treat the media like sh*t, you can't wonder if it backfires in the end when you're not matching expectations...
That hype - one of the most annoying things about him, that at least the German(stemming) people must've surely recognized...
Only partly his fault, but still a flaw - with all the praise he gets
