Dynamo Bucharest are after Maximilian Haas http://www.prosport.ro/fotbal-intern/li ... es-7882119

Haas is not the first Bayern player to get linked with A Romanian Club in general and Dynamo Bucharest in particular

Hope Raz25 can translate

The first letter of his first name, the first letter of his surname and the last surname of his surname are shared with another former Bayern II central defender who is now making a name for himself...

Haas will probably leave Bayern this month. He has an offer from an English club and has been linked with a move to Middlesbrough.

Welcome to the forum, boro. I doubt that too many users would know, since he plays for the reserve team in the 3rd division. What I can tell you is that when Demichelis (Argentina international defender) wanted to leave, Louis van Gaal (the Bayern coach) said that "we don't need a replacement for Demichelis, we have Haas". It could be just to piss off Demichelis, so don't read too much into it, but he'd have to have some skill for van Gaal to say that.

I saw him play once, and to be honest I thought he was better than Braafheid.

Braafheid was decent when he was in a smaller club. I think it is wise for Haas to move even if it is a little late now.

Middlesbrough Football Club are interested in Maximilian Haas.

Boro have just lost key defender David Wheater, who was sold to Bolton Wanderers as he approached the final six months of his contract.

And reports in Germany claim manager Tony Mowbray is interested in taking 25-year-old Haas, who is currently captaining Bayern Munich’s reserve side.

The former Freising star is out of contract at the Allianz Arena in the summer, and the Bundesliga giants are said to be prepared to listen to offers for his signature.

This could well be a shrewd signing for the Championship side, as Haas was promoted to the Bayern seniors in the summer although he is yet to make an appearance this season.
