Interesting, any other candidates for Sporting director that anyone's heard of, then?

Kahn said he's out, Lahm said he's out, and now apparently Eberl is out (KHR recently said we wouldn't be spending any transfer fees to sign a sporting director which would be the case with Eberl)
Those are the only names i'd really heard rumored.

Hansi Flick is another candidate according to kicker... don't read too much from what Eberl says... he gave me the impression that he'd come but Bayern has to buy his contract and it would not be that cheap.

True, but KHR recently said that the idea of spending fees to land a sporting director is ridiculous and we wouldn't do it

Kalle (or was it Uli?) has said that while they are here, Effenberg and/or Matthëus will not come.

I mean honestly, would it really be all that surprising if we went another season without one? Seems to have had no adverse impact for us so far...

It's important for our youth players... We want homegrowns ASAP, putting this off is just gonna make our wait longer...

BILD | GLADBACHS MANAGER NOW SAYS YES TO BAYERN ? [source]

He goes to Bavaria. He does not go to Bavaria. He goes to Bavaria. The dazzling game around Gladbach manager Max Eberl is supposed to come to an end this week. BILD reveals the conditions could make Eberl say YES to the record champion.

It's seems we have our new sporting director according to BILD. But there is condition (I can't see it because it's BILD+)
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :

From what I gather on twitter, he wants Reschke's job.

That's what report Welt.de / N24.

On Sunday, the showdown will take place. FC Bayern will play for Borussia Mönchengladbach. There, in the recent past, the Munich community often found it difficult to find a way to do so. However, because of the great advantage, the result is not the result, but a staffing.

Gladbach's manager Max Eberl is to become new sports director in Munich after the cancellation of captain Philipp Lahm. The issue has been going on for weeks, obviously the negotiations are difficult. Now the Borussia has enough and wants clarity. From Eberl and from Bayern.

So far, both parties had deliberately kept the issue small, so they now have at least no more desire at the Borussia. "The topic is annoying all of us, and we have no longer a bother to push the eternal and three days ahead of us," said Vice-President Rainer Bonhof unmistakably.

According to "Sportbild" Eberl should now decide. And even before the kickoff on Sunday. This does not seem easy for him. And so little, that they believe in Gladbach now a whereabouts of their successful manager. Bonhof: "I really can not imagine that he will go. I'm very sure Max will stay in Gladbach. "

Eberl is considered a Hoeneß man

In the negotiations, according to "picture", there are two key points. On the one hand, Eberl is a Hoeneß man, but he does not seem to be completely sure of the support of the second club patriarch Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. On the other hand, it is about the role of Michael Reschke.
