Thats what i was thinking, a loan that ended in a sell ussually dont have a backward clause.

Maybe a % of the next sale is what it can be, so in this case it will work like a rebate.

MUTU wrote:He's come out saying that he's Dortmund through and through and he's dedicated to the team. We may be able to launch the clause, but then he'd still need to agree to a contract from us. And that's where the problem lies. He doesn't like the treatment he got at Bayern.

He personally said he wants to play for Bayern, his homeclub, again.

Wrong

Adam Szalai from Mainz

He was loaned from Real Madrid , then Real Madrid Sold them to Mainz for 1.5 millions with A Buyback clause of 5 million euros

But the Buyback clause was immediately effective not after some years of the deal !!!

Dortmund is trying to get Hummels to extend his contract.

Personally don't want him, I just think it would be embarrassing to sell him and then buy him back for more. We should look elsewhere.

For once stop with Merte....there is a reason why Werder concede so many goals year after year.

And it would not be embarassing getting one of the best defenders in the world....even if he was our player back in the days

I agree it's not embarrassing. Barca did the same with Pique after they sold him to Man Utd.

And probably they'll do it again with Fabregas.

I would search for a strong world class CB, but if we can get anyone, then spend a lot to get Hummels. He's the best defender in the world according to Castrol ranking after all
