Eh, so what. RIght now the strongest offense he's had to deal with is an out-of-form Bayern. We have to deal with far greater threats.

As I suspected, it's now official. But he's extended till 2014 not 2016 as Bild.de had speculated.

It's on Dortmund's official website.

Klaus Augenthaler: If I was at Bayern, I would have to get Hummels.

I read this article yesterday and I agree with all what he said, specially for van Buyten and Breno.

Mats Hummels is continuing to distance from Bayern and make Bayern fans "happy". He thinks that Bayern will have a problems in forthcoming period and that Reus has caused nervousness at Bayern(how stupid thinking) what they can use in tittle race against us. :)

Hummels glaubt, dass die Bayern genervt sind

He will renew current contract which expires in summer 2014. and continue at Dortmund if a new contract offer comes.

As we can see; 30.6.2014.

Bring in Oliver Kahn!
We need that kind of mentality in our club, in the team...

Interesting interview by TZ with Mats Hummels:

- He thinks young players should come to Bayern because it will be on top for the next ten years.
- Hew was then asked whether he would rule out a change back to FC Bayern, and he replied:

"Bayern is a top venue, in Germany the best along with Dortmund. Even internationally, there are only three or four other clubs."

=P~

Don't get excited, he'll be brought in by Il Kloppo soon enough for a bollocking and a "I am happy at Dortmund" comment.

Woah dude, the Kloppering he got was pretty swift it seems...

"I'm perfectly happy in Dortmund and Bayern have a good defense. A change is not an issue," he said in an interview with Münchner Merkur.

This guy is the sole reason that we lost at the Allainz Arena. IMHO he is more important to BVB than even Gotze (Look at how they are playing now, even without Gotze).

Tbh I can imagine him returning to Bayern at some point, but not for a few years. This season I doubt he will leave as Dortmund have managed to have a good season again. However they will probably be forced to start selling their stars after one or two more seasons, unless they do manage to become better than us domestically. Once Goetze and Kagawa leave (and maybe even Reus), it's only a matter of time until Hummels and Subotic move too imo. But this is all hypothetical. For all we know they could keep their star players until they retire.
