Eh, I harbor no resentment against him. He was kicked out by Louis van Stupidpoopiehead, and he's right to be pissed about it. And also right to enjoy playing for a new club where there is no Louis van Douchebagface.

Goal.com wrote:Mark van Bommel has claimed that clinching Serie A with AC Milan represents the most “beautiful” league triumph of his illustrious career.

The Dutchman collected the eighth title of his career having previously won four Eredivisie medals with PSV, La Liga with Barcelona, and two Bundesliga's with Bayern Munich.

The veteran midfielder told Milannews.it that the Scudetto is the win that has provided him with most satisfaction, saying: “I have won eight league titles in my career, and this is the most beautiful.

“I'm happy to be here, I want to thank [Adriano] Galliani for bringing me here, it has changed my life. Football is strange – in January I played on a Sunday for [Bayern] Munich, and then three days later I played in the Italian Cup with Milan.”

The 34-year-old moved to San Siro on a six-month deal from Bayern in January, and played a pivotal role in Milan's first title since 2004.

This is from a Dutch interview if I remind correctly and this is not what he said exactly. He said that with all the titles he has won, the last one always is the most valuable to him.

I really think Bayern made a mistake in letting him go during the season instead of waiting until Summer, but who cares now, glad to see his back and look toward the future with younger players.

He signed a new contract with Milan, so he's gone for good. Hope he keeps hurting Italians until the end of his career. :P

That's funny, and he actually fits in with Italian football with his attitude and aggressive playing.

Here it is: http://www.vi.nl/Nieuws-item/199929/Van ... mooist.htm
There is no source shown in the interview so I guess it is directly from "Voetbal International" which is one of the biggest football media in The Netherlands. So maybe it is a bad translation of goal.com or van Bommel is not consistent in his interviews

My own free translation:
AC Milan is close to the 18th league title in the history of the club. Mark van Bommel has the opportunity to be champion again, after he switched from Bayern München to AC Milan in January.
"When AC Milan was interested, I had no doubt", Van Bommel said. "I took the risk by signing solely for 6 months, but everything worked out good for me. In my carreer I've won 7 titles, but the last title is always the most beautiful title."
Van Bommel had some good apperances during those 6 months and there is a big chance that he will resign his contract with another year.
"Vice-president Adriano Galliani told me that we will dicuss my future after the season ends."
The 68 cap national team player is not the only player from Milan which has an ending contract this year. Apart from Van Bommel, Massimo Ambrosini, Andrea Pirlo and Clarence Seedorf are not sure if they will continue to play for the Rossoneri.

Thanks for this info, Jim_S. It's yet another case of the media twisting words around for sensationalism. +1 karma for pointing this out.

Van bommel has been so good that Milan have decided against renewing the contract with pirlo. With van bommel, I am not sure if we would have won the Bundesliga but definetly would have gone further in the champions league

I don't know how to insert video so I can only tell you to check out on yje web of Dias (Lazio) becking Van Bommel last night, and the refs missed it.
I've helped bring home a few titles. There is no reason to get nervous. It's a long season, these things are a matter of patience
